The Opportunity

Pay Range: $126,851.00 - $171,392.00 Annually

Overview
We are seeking a Director of Estimating with a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial roofing and waterproofing. This individual will lead the estimating department for new construction, manage a team of 2-3 junior estimators, and serve as the primary point of contact for all bid opportunities. The ideal candidate will be an expert in complex roofing and waterproofing systems, a skilled manager, and an effective communicator with strong client-facing experience.
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of the estimating process for roofing and waterproofing scopes on commercial construction projects in the DC Metro area.
Supervise, train, and mentor a team of junior estimators to ensure high-quality, timely bid submissions.
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop competitive pricing for hot rubberized asphalt systems, single ply roofing (TPO, PVC, EPDM), green roofs, and pedestal set paver assemblies.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and addenda to evaluate scope, logistics, and risk.
Serve as the primary estimating liaison for general contractors.
Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client presentations as needed.

A leading company in the fluid power space is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to manage and grow business within a key territory. Candidates with a passion for technical sales, relationship-building, and delivering custom solutions will have the opportunity to drive significant revenue in a high-impact role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed regional sales quotas by actively managing and growing a base of OEM customers and new accounts.
Strategic Market Penetration: Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to increase market share for diverse product lines, including in-line and cartridge valves.
Consultative Selling: Leverage technical aptitude to understand complex customer applications and effectively position standard and custom hydraulic and pneumatic valves.
Custom Solutions Expert: Promote specialty in custom manifolds and integrated circuits to create efficient, tailored hydraulic designs that meet unique customer needs.
Application Development: Target key industries such as agriculture, construction, material handling, and automotive manufacturing, identifying new opportunities for fluid power products.
Territory Management: Manage distributor and representative relationships, providing training, joint sales calls, and strategic guidance to maximize performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and customer support teams, as well as a sister division specializing in electromechanical components (solenoids, relays, etc.), to offer a comprehensive solution package.
WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience in technical sales or sales management within the fluid power, hydraulics, or pneumatics industry.
Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic valves (e.g., solenoid, directional, flow, pressure control) and their application in industrial and mobile equipment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies across a regional territory.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned region to meet with customers, representatives, and distributors.
A self-starter with a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
