What You Will Do:
As a Senior ProjectManager, you will lead internal teams and guide clients, ensuring that every project meets its goals with excellence:
Provide leadership and oversight of business and production operations.
Serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships and strengthening trust. Develop and implement projectmanagement plans aligned with client scope, schedule, and budget.
Track and monitor production hours per phase, coordinating with technical leaders across disciplines.
Maintain billing projections within 5% accuracy of actuals and oversee client invoices in coordination with accounting.
Support business development efforts, contributing to client acquisition strategies and sales goals.
Lead preparation of fee proposals and contractual agreements; conduct fee negotiations with clients and technical leaders.

The Water Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, Water Design-Build Senior ProjectManager. This position will be part of an exciting team employing the latest technologies to solve critical water supply, treatment, and infrastructure projects such as water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems throughout the United States. The Senior ProjectManager will be charged with responsibility to actively direct the performance of ongoing Design Build water and wastewater projects as well as take a leadership role in the development and capture of upcoming design build pursuits.
It is desirable that the DB Senior ProjectManager is capable of performing in both conceptual and detailed engineering and construction projectmanagement capacities. Those Projectmanagers with either Design Build projectmanagement experience will be considered especially those with water/wastewater industry experience or those with experience in industrial (process) oriented construction fields.
**Fiscal Experience** - Proven projectmanagement skills to delivery projects at or under budget and on schedule. Working knowledge of job accounting and reporting methods such as earned value and estimates to complete.
**Team Oriented** - This position requires the skill set to directly oversee and manage detailed engineering and construction teams working collaboratively together to deliver the project.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental, Sanitary, Chemical Engineering or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Providing oversight and direction to enable projects to be completed on time and on budget
Serving as a liaison for those managing design and construction and various City departments to ensure smooth project delivery
Assisting in the sequencing and coordination of projects

Oversee and track project progress
Attend regular design/construction project meetings and meet with consultants and staff to resolve design and construction problems
Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and perform other ancillary administrative responsibilities related to assigned projects
Conduct general administration and oversight of design and construction process
Review designs for coordination and constructability
Oversee and document construction activities
Assist in review and recommendation of approval of invoicing, change orders, etc.
The PM will provide client support for active and new projects working alongside other facility team members, internal business clients, external vendors, and contractors driving the execution of projects.
The PM will assist with project, schedule, and cost management services including, but not limited to: Technical and administrative projectmanagement, budget controls, schedule control, coordination, change management, quality controls, submittal review and approval coordination, oversight of construction, manageproject records and close-out documents.
The PM will support overall projectmanagement, project strategy, vendor selection, procurement, and contracting, design management and pre-construction services, construction phase services, and project turnover and closeout activities.
The PM must be comfortable using Microsoft Project, PDF document management, and have the ability to learn client dedicated systems.

About the Transportation Business Unit
At ms consultants, inc., we provide comprehensive transportation engineering services for projects of all sizes - from major interstate systems to local roads. Our services include roadway and intersection design, corridor improvements, bridge replacement and rehabilitation, and environmental documentation. What You'll Do:
As a Senior ProjectManager, you will play a key role in the development and execution of transportation engineering projects. This includes overseeing the day-to-day design and management of projects for a wide range of clients. With your leadership and technical expertise, you'll ensure that our clients continue to receive high-quality, cost-effective solutions - a standard ms consultants has been delivering for over 50 years. Key responsibilities include:
Project Leadership: Manage the day-to-day activities of transportation projects, including staff coordination, budget oversight, and schedule management.
Roadway Design: Oversee the design and preparation of roadway plans for highway and local road projects.
Quality Assurance: Lead quality review processes and perform internal technical reviews to ensure plans meet the highest standards.
Mentorship: Provide feedback, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Client Relations: Participate in client presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and building strong, lasting relationships with clients.
Project Coordination: Prepare project schedules, estimate manpower needs, and manage proposals, scope-of-work, and fees.
Scope Management: Recognize scope changes, assist in negotiating contract modifications, and ensure client expectations are met.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure successful project execution.
What You'll Bring:
We're looking for a Senior ProjectManager with a strong mix of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience: Proven experience in the design and preparation of plans for both interstate and local road/street projects.
Licensing: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Ohio or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
ProjectManagement Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing transportation projects, including budgets, schedules, and teams.
Mentorship and Leadership: Experience in a mentorship or supervisory role, with a passion for developing junior staff.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of ODOT and FHWA standards, and experience with MicroStation, GeoPAK, and Open Roads.
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with clients.
Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Client Focus: A strong desire to manageprojects, build relationships, and deliver exceptional service to clients.
Educational Qualifications:
BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University
