Role and Responsibilities
The essential roles and responsibilities are outlined below:
Observes team performance while searching for any possible site hazards to ensure that MSS Solutions, LLC complies with all regulatory guidelines (OSHA, MSHA, EPA, etc.) and provides direction to site management and employees for immediate actions if we are out of compliance.
Identifies conditions that could produce accidents and communicates to operation management so that conditions can be improved. Also communicates this to Safety Committee/Safety Coordinator so that information is shared between areas.
As an integral member of the team, the Site Safety Manager conducts post-accident investigations and makes recommendations to prevent accidents from reoccurring. They also assist operations management with accident documentation.
Communicate with injured employees. Accompany employees to initial and following medical treatments to ensure that employees are taken care of and that the physician understands employees' duties and explains our light-duty policy.
Plans, implements, and coordinates programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses or deaths, and financial losses.
Assists in the continued development of Corporate Operating Procedures, policies, and procedures for safety.
The Site Safety Manager will record and maintain data for various safety statistics such as first aids & recordables, graphing trends by type and area, etc. Then enters data into the audit system. Reviews data for trends.
Conducts training on safety, new employee orientation, and drug testing of employees as required.
Conducts safety audits and identifies any hazards or abating any unsafe behaviors or conditions in the work area.
Visually inspects MSS Solutions, LLC vehicles and equipment for damage and roadworthiness.
Assists in pre-job/shutdown planning whenever possible with the Project Manager and Superintendents.
Makes personal contact with the working crews to build relationships, addresses concerns, and identifies improvement opportunities.
Attends customer-sponsored/mandated safety meetings
Counsels/coaches employees when policy infractions are noted and inform appropriate supervision for additional counseling and possible disciplinary actions.
Maintains SDS sheets
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
Two years of field safety experience (construction)
Professional safety certification or associate's degree desired.
The candidate may be required to pass a criminal background check based on job location/requirements.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

Qualifications and Education Requirements• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years of experience in mechanical design; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years Using CAD/CAM software, preferably: Alphacam, Autocad, Enroute.
• Blueprint reading, basic math, and understanding of measuring devices.
• Experience in the current version of Revit software.

Qualifications and Requirements
Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of the management of site logistics and contract operations on tight urban sites.
Must be competent in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
Must have knowledge of all phases of construction. Must have experience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control of project scope.
Strong technical and communication skills are critical.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with construction experience as a Lead Superintendent.
A thorough understanding of and ability to maintain current, complete set of project documents, blueprints, revisions, specifications and related items.
Ability to multitask and juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in accessing, reading, and complete the installation of system from a BIM coordinated project.

Implement training programs on supported/installed control systems to support an efficient service operation.
Work with the Service Manager to effectively manage inspection/repair assignments.
Work with the Service Manager to continuously evaluate staff for training requirements to ensure team efficiency and clear/effective communication with customers.
Participate in the periodic and annual staff performance evaluations for operational excellence (Utilization, profitability, etc.).
Participate with respective Service Manager in new F&S Service contract transition meetings with Sales and support Sales to assemble service project scope and pricing.
Position is a 50% billable technician.
Maintain customer satisfaction for continual company growth.

Qualifications and Requirements
5 to 10 years of experience in the fire alarm & security systems industry.

Recognize, set-up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
Check to ensure that each job order is accurate and complete.
Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.
Communicate with superintendent and management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Universal EPA certification
