What you will do: Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Obeying and following applicable traffic laws as well as Federal DOT rules and regulations Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving Maintaining trucks to DOT and Indiana Auto Auction standards The ability to climb up and down on your truck as necessary Ability to work outside in all weather conditions Other duties as assigned What you will need: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must have a valid Class A (No Automatic Only Endorsement) CDL license and have a current and valid DOT physical. Job Summary: The Lot Truck Driver is responsible for providing minor mechanical assistance to vehicles located on auction property. This role supports lot operations by providing maintenance service to both customers and teammates and locating and moving vehicles as assigned. The Lot Truck Driver operates trucks and related machinery to reposition and prepare vehicles for auction. Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Drive, operate, and maintain the lot truck. Assist customers and employees by maintaining gas tanks, tire air supply, and performing jump starts when required. Maintain inventory of gas cans, jumper cables, air tanks and other equipment. Perform minor mechanical repairs on vehicles to prepare for auction. Operate trucks or machinery to move vehicles into the auction block. Assist customers with locating vehicles or other related requests. Clean and maintain work area and associated tools and machinery. Perform additional duties as assigned. Experience & Education: High School Diploma or GED required 1+ years of experience operating trucks, machinery, or minor automotive repair or maintenance.
