FLSA classification: Non-exempt (eligible for overtime) NATURE OF WORK The Golf Course Assistant Maintenance Superintendent assists with the daily maintenance of the Mt. Lebanon Golf Course buildings, grounds and equipment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintains tees, putting greens, fairways, sand bunkers, shrubs, flowers, trees, clubhouse grounds and golf course fences. This includes all aspects of turf management including but not limited to mowing, aerifying and chemical applications. Assists with supervision of part-time maintenance employees. Operates, maintains and repairs golf course equipment. Operates and repairs the golf course irrigation system. Provides pesticide management and turf assistance at other municipal recreation facilities. Maintains the municipal garden plots. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Assists with special events when needed. Maintains regular and punctual attendance. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Assists with municipal snow removal. Perform all other related work as required.
