In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Responding to software, PC, or peripheral device (barcode scanners, label printers, etc.) issues in our manufacturing lines; troubleshoot and fix or escalate the issues as appropriate Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with our production, technician, and engineering staff Communicating, and coordinating when necessary, floor support activities and initiatives with our team in Beijing, China Documenting production support issues and procedures as needed to reduce rework and increase the knowledge of our team Interfacing with our local and corporate IT teams to resolve and escalate issues when appropriate Helping identify innovations that reduce the time or work associated with support tasks Helping implement large scale infrastructure projects (e.g. migration to Windows 11 is a recent example) Providing off-hours support as needed (infrequent) Who You Are: You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in business or related field (MIS, IT, etc.) and minimum of two (2) years of experience OR Associates degree in business, IT, or related field and minimum of four (4) years of experience Proficiency with systems administration including setup, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting Microsoft operating systems, computer hardware and software on laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
