Pros of working at MU Health Care

The staff I worked with are nice

Cons of working at MU Health Care

I am considering leaving healthcare after working here. The hospital system does not seem to care about the patients or the nurses, just the bottom line. They use the bait and switch tactic for travelers, where they are contracted for one unit and float all over the hospital. Multiple travelers have cancelled their contract early. Staff doesn't seem any happier from what I have seen.

MU Health Care benefits

I am looking at other fields outside of healthcare so maybe I am no longer abused at work, either from physically or verbally by patients or emotionally by employers.

What do you like best about MU Health Care's CEO and the leadership team?

I have never met CEO and leadership team just makes everything sound nice but there is no real action to make this a decent/happy place to work.

How would you improve MU Health Care's culture?

Look at your staffing office and see if they have reasons for their moves. It would work out a lot better if you staffed each unit to that units needs.
