Reporting to the US Head of Benefits, serve as consultant and technical expert in support of the Bank's retirement program including pension and retiree health benefits. Provide subject matter expertise to benefits and other HR staff. Manage complex and high-profile benefits related projects.
**Major Responsibilities:** Responsible for providing expertise to management on the Bank's retirement programs.
**Duties** include:
+ Interpreting plan provisions; Recommending assumptions and coordinating with internal staff and external providers to complete pension administration tasks including complex pension and supplemental benefits calculations, analyses and related processes for individuals or groups of individuals, including executives. (35%)
+ Provide quality control for pension and retiree health administration work product, including work produced by outside administrators and system generated calculation results; ensure conformance with departmental desk procedures; identify internal and cross functional process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions (35%)
+ Independently manage complex benefits related projects; develop and implement project plans and timelines. Prepare analyses and presentations to assist management in decision making relative to benefit plan design and operation. (15%)
+ Draft written communications relating to benefits matters including letters to plan participants, attorneys, and survivors. Provide direction to benefits staff; resolve participant inquiries and escalated benefit issues based on independent analysis of plan provisions and applicable laws; (10%)
+ Stay abreast of industry best practices and legal requirements and keep management informed of changes. (5%)
Requires direct work experience focused on defined benefit pension plans and defined contributions retirement programs. Preferred degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.). Proven track record demonstrating results-oriented project management, attention to detail and analytical skills. Familiarity with actuarial concepts, Social Security, Medicare, and funding concerns. Experience with regulatory environment: ERISA, IRS, DOL, PBGC, HIPAA etc. Advanced skills with standard desktop applications, including MS Excel and Access required. Experience with HR information systems and benefits related technology including third party report writers and SQL-based query tools. Some programming experience desirable.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $95,000 - $118,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.

**Job Summary:**
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineering role is crucial to MUFG Securities adherence to governance and safety and soundness principles, ensuring that our Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) program is aligned with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. Job Description
The AVP in the Middle Office will be responsible for supporting the firm's initiative to become a US Government Primary Dealer. The candidate will work with various internal and external stakeholders in gathering the requirements, will be responsible for the FR2004 reporting, will support the Fed's FOMC Operations, and will support the Fixed Income primary and secondary trading businesses. This person will be responsible for handling all middle office operational functions including, but not limited to, FR2004 reporting, providing support for the Fed Auction process, and support the lifecycle of trades for the Flow Products Rates and Credit Trading Desks and Institutional Investor Sales Desks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ In depth knowledge of the various FR2004 reporting and submission requirements, will ultimately be responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly submissions as well as any ad hoc requests from the Fed
+ Work with BA and vendors in regards to gathering requirements; assess current capabilities; work on data analysis, design, and mapping; assist from Ops perspective with BRD, FRD, and other documentation, identify any gaps that may need to be addressed especially in regards to setting up the FR2004 reporting infrastructure
+ Help facilitate the information gathering and documentation submission required by the regulatory bodies for the broker-dealer's onboarding process
+ Assist with system configuration, setup, and testing
+ Collaborate with relevant regulatory bodies to understand the application process, reporting requirements, and ongoing obligations for market participants

**Job Summary:**
The VP of Markets and Trading Operational Risk Management reports directly to the Head of Markets and Trading Operational Risk Management. The Operational Risk Management department is responsible for the management of the operational risk framework and standards, aggregate risk assessments and risk appetite. This position assists the Head of the Department with the development and maintenance of an enterprise wide second line Markets and Trading framework. The individual in this position has oversight responsibility for first line of defense markets and trading operational risk activities.
+ Contributing to the development of the markets and trading operational risk management framework, standards and methodology, and providing updates on a periodic basis in line with the changing risk profile.
+ Provide guidance to first line, second line, and enterprise support units on the effective execution of the Operational Risk framework, including: new activity assessments, operational risk/loss events, scenario analysis, risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), and emerging risk identification.
+ Participating in Review and Challenge to provide ongoing independent SME review and challenge for First Line of Defense (FLOD) markets and trading operational risk activities and compliance with the Markets and Trading Risk Framework and risk policies.
+ Manage Operational Incidents process and report within firm guidelines, inclusive of remediation, tracking and reporting. Work with enterprise personnel to understand the root cause of incidents, to assess incident response and remediation efforts, and manage tracking and reporting.

+ Develop tools, processes, and systems to independently identify and assess aggregate markets and trading risks, trends and emerging risks.
+ Manages the development, monitoring, and review of key risk metrics and assists management in the early identification of risk trends.
+ Support the design and development of the Bank's KRM program, ensuring KRMs are correctly calibrated, and relevant.

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Job Summary:
The VP of Markets and Trading Operational Risk Management reports directly to the Head of Markets and Trading Operational Risk Management.
