**Position Summary** :
The Rate Sales group covers MUFG's institutional investor clients. Institutional investor clients include Insurance Companies, Banks, Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Central Banks, GSEs, SSA, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Pensions, and Endowments. Products include Government bonds, interest rate derivatives, repo, commercial paper, and related rate product. Team members work with traders, strategists, and economists to tailor solutions for clients on a broad range of topics ranging from macroeconomic and relative value themes, to asset & liability management. VP Rates Sales will work with teammates to provide coverage to specific clients for these products.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Sell rates products to institutional investor clients
+ Manage institutional investor client relationships, execute trades & facilitate the execution of trades on electronic venues
+ Follow news, economic data, macro themes and market narratives for benefit of our traders and clients
+ Promote and discuss fixed income strategy and other MUFG research with clients and leverage it into trades
+ Price, model and execute interest rate derivatives with various trading desks
+ Discuss views and risk positions of various trading desks and distribute axes
+ Work closely with other teams to cross-sell product and promote cross selling across the firm
+ Back up colleagues and work together as a team
+ Work with support staff as needed as issues come up during the lifecycle of the trade
+ On-board clients in coordination with the firm's credit, legal, compliance, and operations teams
+ Mentor and develop junior salespeople
**Requirements** :
+ 5+ years of experience

**Summary:**
The Institutional Business Development Analyst will work closely with two senior Client Advisors ("CA") within the Institutional Client Group. Compensation Details
The salary range for this role in Illinois is $80,000-$90,000 and the salary range for the role in California is $80,000-$90,000. **Job Summary:**
**We are looking for candidate(s) who will be responsible for:**
**1) Maintaining and servicing existing portfolio as Marketing Officer ("MO").**

The typical base pay range for this role is between $74K - $81K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
