Evaluating and managing due diligence for project finance transactions, leading credit and execution process, and negotiations with 3rd party consultants including: technical, market, insurance and environmental; and performing credit risk assessments for non-recourse project financing. Creating complex project finance models that can assess the feasibility and financial viability of large-scale project, including cash flow and debt sizing analysis and sensitivities. Leading marketing activities for project finance covering clients, identifying and sourcing lending and non-lending (cross selling) opportunities that conform to the Bank's business strategy and credit policies. Leading the execution, structuring, negotiations and documentation for non-recourse financings and financial advisory for financing placed in: (i) in the commercial bank market, (ii) with Export Credit Agencies, and (iii) with institutional investors in the capital markets; and overseeing and managing junior staff (Analysts and Associates) on all aspects of deal execution including credit application, marketing material, compliance, due diligence and financial modeling. Fostering and maintaining client relationships through day-to-day communication and providing various advisories and finance market information. Developing financing solutions and proposals to clients, utilizing various financing sources such as bank loans, export credit agencies, multilateral agencies, debt capital markets and others. Managing the credit analysis and internal approval process leading the deal team. Facilitating global coordination with project finance teams of other regions and branches, as well as headquarters. Facilitating the learning and mentoring process of junior team members through live transactions, sharing of information and serving as a resource to answer questions. Participating in special projects and assignments as directed by the Managing Director and Group Head.
Qualifications - External
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Financial Economics, Engineering or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree).
Experience: 3 years of experience working on a team that leads the origination and execution of non-recourse project finance transactions placed in the (i) the commercial bank market, (ii) capital markets and (iii) with Export Credit Agencies; evaluating and managing credit risk, preparing internal credit submittals, and leading due diligence for project finance transactions, including overseeing technical, market, insurance, and environmental consultants; building project financial models including debt sizing analysis and cash flow sensitivities, drafting information memorandums, lender presentations and rating agencies presentation; performing financial advisory for project financings; and 2 years of experience must include leading transactions in the digital infrastructure sector.
Travel: Position requires travel 15% of the time, primarily domestic, with some travel to Canada, Mexico and Latin America.
Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.
Wage: $190,000 to $275,000 U.S. dollars per year

We are seeking a dynamic, thoughtful, and collaborative professional to join our Project Finance Team as VicePresident, covering North American Power markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project finance, with a focus on North American renewable and power asset classes. This role requires strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, logical thinking and writing ability, a good understanding of the industry and finance market dynamics, and the ability to communicate well with relevant parties. Additionally, this role requires fluency in Japanese (in addition to English).
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Contribute to the origination and execution of debt project financing transactions, working closely with Managing Directors and Directors.
+ Identify and review new business opportunities, leading the process of screening new deals with senior management for approval.
+ Establish client relationships and work with clients regularly, including attending in-person client meetings.
+ Lead the development of business screening memoranda to screen new transactions, working with associates and analysts.
+ Lead all aspects of transaction due diligence, working with associates/analysts. + Advise clients on matters pertaining to commercial and financial structure and operating requirements to achieve suitability for non-recourse debt financing that meets client objectives.
+ Perform credit ratings analysis and assist in obtaining credit ratings for transactions involving debt capital markets.
+ Lead the development, review, analysis, and negotiation of term sheets and financing documentation while seeking guidance from Managing Directors/Directors as needed.
+ Lead the development of internal credit memos summarizing and articulating commercial rationale; key risks and mitigants; cash flow analysis; project contracts analysis; and counterparty credit analysis, as well as other key aspects the bank should be aware of in executing transactions, working with associates and analysts.
+ Lead the development of financing transaction marketing materials, including rating agency presentations, lender and investor presentations, and information memoranda.
+ Own and manage processes required for compliance and execution, including profitability analysis, committee approvals, legal due diligence, KYC, and closing checklists.
+ Deliver seamless transaction execution with limited oversight in all respects, including origination, diligence, analysis, structuring, approvals, closing, syndication, and liaising with various relevant internal and external partners.
+ Serve as a control and audit function for internal and external work products.
+ Provide mentorship and training to Associates and Analysts.
+ Act as a role model for colleagues and junior staff; embody MUFG's client-centric culture.
**Qualifications:**
+ A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
+ Fluency in Japanese is highly recommended.
+ A minimum of 5 years of work experience (typically 7+) in the financial services industry; preferably in project finance, with full involvement in marketing, execution, due diligence, documentation, credit analysis, and credit administration, managing approval requirements and processes, and effectively interacting with clients.
+ Familiarity with the "big picture," anticipating workflow rather than acting reactively.
+ Proactive, resourceful self-starter capable of rapidly learning new systems and processes and working effectively in a team environment.
+ Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.

**Job Summary:**
This new VP/Director level position offers a strong growth opportunity in the Aviation Group of MUFG ("GAFO"), one of the leading financial institutions in the sector. The VP/Director will originate, distribute, and execute structured financing and leasing deals for Aviation clients in the Americas. Job Summary:
This new VP/Director level position offers a strong growth opportunity in the Aviation Group of MUFG (“GAFO”), one of the leading financial institutions in the sector. Neuberger Berman is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager to lead Client Billing and Production Compensation for our Private Wealth business ($80Bn+ in Assets under management). This high-impact role requires a professional who can balance operational excellence but can also proactively solution enhancements to drive efficiency and support business growth. The ideal candidate will bring relevant private wealth experience, strong analytical skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead change and influence cross-functional teams. This role requires close collaboration with Private Wealth leadership team, Payroll, Fund Admin, Legal, Operations, Technology, among others.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Billing Operations:
Oversee all aspects of the client billing lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely calculations, collections, and invoicing
Direct quarterly Investment Advisory fee billing, including complex exception reporting and root-cause resolution, driving continuous process improvement
Monitor and optimize receivables management, payment application, and reconciliation with third-party custodians to maximize collections and resolve outstanding items swiftly
Collaborate with the Controller team for month-end general ledger close, ensuring accurate reconciliation of revenue and balance sheet accounts
Partner with Private Wealth leadership team to design and implement new pricing structures
Lead all ad-hoc reporting and project-related requests, and special analyses to identify actionable insights for senior management
Compensation Management:
Oversee the monthly compensation process for Private Wealth production-based teams, ensuring precision and operational excellence
Supervise the close of compensation expenses, perform in-depth P&L variance reviews, and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Partner with Private Wealth leadership team to design and implement new compensation frameworks
Produce tailored, data-driven analyses to support senior management decision-making and emerging business needs
Process Improvement & Technology Enablement:
Champion the adoption of advanced analytics, AI, and automation to drive transformative change and elevate operational performance
Lead the design, testing, and implementation of technology solutions and automation projects, partnering closely with Data Analytics and Solutions Lead
Document, communicate, and roll out new processes and enhancements, ensuring seamless adoption and user engagement
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and nurture strong partnerships with Private Wealth leadership, HCM, Technology, Legal, and Operations to implement billing and compensation plans and resolve issues
Effectively articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences, fostering understanding and alignment
Promote a collaborative, innovative, and continuous improvement mindset within the team and across the organization
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
8-12 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, client billing, sales compensation, or financial analysis, preferably within private wealth or asset management
Demonstrated experience leading change management and process innovation initiatives
Proven ability to lead and inspire multiple teams toward a shared strategic vision
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while juggling multiple priorities
Desired Skills:
Experience in private wealth, asset management, or investment advisory industry
Hands-on experience with commission-based compensation and financial systems/software
Experience with AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics tools for automation and process improvement
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Strategic, creative, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to learn and communicate complex processes quickly and effectively
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $150,000-$180,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
