Essential Job Responsibilities:
As a mobile patrol officer, you have an important role in protecting people and property. Your job requires patrolling assigned areas to detect any signs of criminal activity or security risks.
Conducting routine patrols of designated areas to detect any signs of intrusion or damage. This involves utilizing a customer vehicle to drive around to the various schools in the district.
Traversing the premises, checking doors and windows, and ensuring external lighting is functioning properly.
Responding promptly to School Command Center calls or alarms, like fire alarms or security breaches.
Assessing situations, securing the area to prevent unauthorized access, contacting emergency responders if needed
Deterring criminal activity and vandalism taken place
Providing escorts for employees or clients if requested for safety, and if necessary, accompany to parking lots, vehicles or buildings.
Preparing reports and documentation of details observed and actions taken.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
2 years security experience
School Security experience strongly preferred

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Provides onsite watch/protection of assigned post and designated perimeter
Observes, reports and supports client expectations
Reports all breaches per applicable methods
Utilizes company scheduling platform for clock-ins/clock-outs of scheduled shift
Evaluates and responds to alerts in surrounding area with professionalism and according to company protocol
Alerts Supervisor on Duty when situation requires escalation per company protocol
Assists fellow security guards with de-escalation when applicable per company protocol
Follows procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting
Works with diligence and respect to ensure the safety and security of assigned client, visitors and property
Adheres to all Company service and operating standards
Additional tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Valid and current SORA license
At least one (1) year of security guarding experience
Valid Drivers License with clean driving record
Additional certifications a plus
Compensation: $18-19 an hour

Implement the building's Fire Safety Plan in the event of an emergency.
Acting as a liaison between building personnel and the NYPD in the event of an emergency.
Directing the evacuation of occupants as provided for in the fire safety EAP plan.
Assisting all emergenciesservice personnel entering the building on official business and reporting details to the Property Manager, Account Manager and Kent Office ASAP.
Supervising and traing the fire Brigade, FS/EAP Wardens, Deputy FS/EAP Warden and building evacuation supervisors.
Maintaining records and logs as required by the New York City Fire Code.
Conducting, supervising and evaluating fire and emergency drills.
