You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control. 2nd shift: 3p-11p, Mon-Fri Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion * Load and unload equipment and materials * Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency * Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant * Log and record readings for equipment and procedures * Maintains a safe and healthy work environment at all times. * Set-up and operate rotary die cutter in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). * Mount paper rolls and take away completed product. * Follows quality standards, maintains close tolerances, performs quality checks and enters Quality non-conformances into system. * Maintains operating and malfunction/downtime log and required production documentation * Sets-up and operates other equipment when required * Performs routine maintenance and clean up. * Trains "helpers" and new employees as required. * Assists with examining product when needed * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields * Familiarity with plant tools and equipment * Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills * Ability to handle physical workload * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * High School Diploma or equivalent * Basic computer skills * Mechanical aptitude * Good visual acuity and color vision * Ability to walk, stand, bend or reach 12 hours. * Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. * Ability to work on any shift (day or night/12 hour shifts) * Must be able to adhere to stringent security and safety rules.
