Minimum one year of heavy civil experience is preferred Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract Must possess a valid form of government issued photo identification Successful completion of criminal background check and pre-employment drug & alcohol testing Must be fully vaccinated and provide valid COVID-19 vaccination record (unless you have a legitimate recognized medical or religious reason for not getting vaccinated)

Applicants who reside within Nunavut will be given preference due to the location of this project21/21 rotation work schedule; working 11.5 hours per day.Must be open to night shifts Work will be primarily outdoors for extended periods of time in harsh weather conditions

**Primary Function**
The Studio Multi-Skilled Operator will be responsible for assisting the Director in a studio and live playout environment to support the production and delivery of news content. The Studio Multi-Skilled Operator will be operating various technical systems to support the requirements of news and broadcast operations team. This role is an integral part of the News Production team to get items to air, by live and program needs, and proactively acting upon them. The core skills required for this role are robotics camera operation, audio, A2, flooring, and lighting.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Setup and operate technical equipment in a safe manner as directed to support production requirements. This may include cameras, lighting, sound, vision and graphics systems, and a range of other technical equipment
+ Operate EVS servers for the purposes of 'live playout to air' when edited program content cannot be delivered for broadcast by file transfer.
+ Work with the Engineering team to support the needs of production by means of continuous development and technical innovation.
+ Report technical issues to the engineering team in a timely manner so that problems are addressed quickly, and with minimal impact
+ Work with the resource bookings team to track the location of key studio equipment and make it available for production use. Dress IFBs, mic guests, and manage guest traffic on and off set.
+ Other duties as assigned
