Position Summary
The Clinical Concierge MedicalAssistant is an incredible opportunity to expand your role in health care through performing clinical tasks and coordinating patient care within the MA-C license scope. Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred

Position Summary

Position Summary
The Certified MedicalAssistant (MA-C) is an integral part of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) office team working under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. Work situations require performance of safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. The MA-C has continuous contact with physicians, APPs, nurses, front office staff, patients and their families/caregivers.
Responsibilities:
Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include:
Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff
Interviewing patients
Obtaining vital signs
Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments
Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture
Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers
Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include:
Sending and receiving of patient medical records
Facilitating patient referrals
Preparing forms for patients
Requirements:
Washington State MedicalAssistant-Certified (MA-C)

Position Summary

Washington State Requirements:

Washinton State MedicalAssistant Interim Certification acceptable for up to one year from issue date or until MA-C is issued.
Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program, depending on assignment
Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
Exceptions may be made for applicants currently in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire Washington State MedicalAssistant-Certified (MA-C) license within 45 days of hire.
Idaho State Requirements:
Current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
WA state MA-C license, or WA state MA-R license required with endorsed by Indigo within the first 30 days of employment
Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program, depending on assignment
Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
