We are in need of an OT who can participate in our weekend rotation schedule, but who also has weekday availability for sick call and PTO coverage. All employees are expected to cross-cover both Auburn and Covington Medical Centers, so training occurs for both sites in the first month or two. Per diem staff are also expected to work a minimum of 1 holiday per year, and be able to complete mandatory education/training during non-shift hours, but on the clock. Our New Employee Orientation process is very rigorous for the first few weeks to a month (and would likely require some time off from an alternate position), and certain aspects are mandatory with regard to schedule. Following the first 3-4 days, we are then able to schedule dates for departmental orientation and get staff up and running.
