Assistant Residential Site Manager
Responsibilities: Full Time supervisory position working at 24 hr. site providing care and support to individuals with medical & behavioral needs. Must have valid driver's license and dependable vehicle.

Insure that all documentation is complete on a timely basis, and other duties as required.

The Multicultural Community Service's ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) program is seeking Part Time and Full Time Direct Service Professionals. MCS provides supports to adults who have Acquired Brain Injury.
An acquired brain injury (ABI) is an injury to the brain that has occurred after birth. This includes all types of traumatic brain injuries and also brain injuries caused after birth by cerebral vascular accidents (strokes) and loss of oxygen to the brain (hypoxic brain injury).
MCS is a private, non-profit agency founded in 1979 to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We currently support over 2,000 people through our Family Support, Residential, Individual Support, Adult Foster Care, facility based respite, ABA and Home Care Nursing programs. Our Acquired Brain Injury program provides home and community based services that enhance the capacities of the individuals we serve to maximize their quality of life as members of their community.
The ABI program is looking for committed employees to care for Clients with disabilities. The care needed can range from providing companionship to total care. We are currently serving clients in the greater Springfield area and most of them are wheelchair bound. All the clients live in their own apartments or home. Staff would be working 1 on 1, and this would include cooking, cleaning and personal care. All the Clients are interactive, enjoy talking with the Staff, and are very appreciative to have a helping hand.
Previous experience with PCA work preferred. CPR & First Aid training will be provided.
CURRENT OPEN SHIFTS:
West Springfield - Adult Companion needed for daytime and overnight openings for Sunday - Saturday as Relief for a Woman.
West Springfield - Adult companion needed for Gentleman for 9am-4pm or 4pm-8pm on Friday and/or Saturday.
Holyoke - Adult Companion needed to be Relief for 7am-10am shift for Gentleman.
Ludlow - Adult Companion needed 10am-4pm and 4pm-10pm on the weekends and 4pm-10pm during the week for a Woman.
The hours may be flexible depending on the Client.

Flexible Schedule, 1st and 2nd shift, Monday-Friday.

Taking out individuals into the community for recreational activities, i.e. bowling, mini, golf, movies, gym, six flags, etc.
Companionship, medical appointments, shopping, teaching daily life skills, cooking and meal preparations.
Assistance with cleaning, transportation, and vacation/day trips (Individual or MCS will cover cost).

Responsibilities:
The Direct Support Professional (Deaf/HH/DB Program) will directly support in the provision of Leadership, Engagement, and Advocacy for Deaf Empowerment and Resilience. This role is responsible for providing direct support/care to Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and/or DeafBlind residents.
This may include:
● Taking residents out into the community for recreation and/or social events, medical appointments, shopping;
● Coaching residents in the area of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) (i.e. cooking, cleaning, proper hygiene);
● Ensuring the safety and well-being of each resident;
● Completing documentation on a consistent and timely basis
