AdvancED multimedia artist job description

AAC (Advanced Automation Corporation) is seeking a Multimedia Artist / Animator who will contribute to the creation, implementation, maintenance, and performance of graphic assets in our Distributive Learning (DL) application. This role will be responsible for creating custom graphics to enhance our Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) while aligning those assets with the learning objectives presented throughout. The artist will work with a development team to aid instructional designers (ISD) and subject matter experts (SME) in the ideation, design, and implementation of graphics in learning exercises throughout the DL application.

Design visual elements in alignment with our design standards to maintain a consistent look and feel.

Create custom visual elements and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and or other design software.

Collaborate with a team of instructional designers, developers, and subject matter experts to produce visual assets to enhance digital learning content.

Contribute and further establish consistent design standards for the DL application and its various graphic assets.
Manage video production and ensure that all processes are recorded and documented. Maintain all media assets, source files, and copyright information. Implement Section 508 accessibility standards to ensure compliance. Ensure timeliness while working on tasks throughout an agile product lifecycle.
Requirements
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent years of experience. At least 5 years of professional multimedia development experience. 5 years of experience developing multimedia and animation for Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI). Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other design software. Strong understanding of design principles and their implementation. Demonstrate proficiency in developing motion graphics and video content. Possess a keen eye for detail and conduct quality assurance assessments. Ability to compress graphic and video assets to reduce file size without losing quality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Provide an online portfolio of work.


Desired Qualifications
Experience developing 3D models and assets. Proficiency with 3D development software (e.g. Blender or 3ds Max). Familiarity with Three.js and WebGL. Experience with Front-End Development (HTML5, CSS/Sass, JS). Possess or is willing to obtain scrum certification as a developer.
