**POSITION PURPOSE**
Maintains, ships, and handles aircraft parts and material. Ensures timely location and acquisition of parts/materials for maintenance.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**

+ Accurately issues and or delivers parts and materials to various departments. Ensures timely location and acquisition of parts/materials for Maintenance using the computer tracking system and other resources.
+ Ensures proper handling of aircraft parts during transactions, shipping, and receiving to avoid damage, flight cancellations or delays.
+ Performs accurate and timely computer system transactions including parts/materials issue and returns, warehouse transfers and bin transfers.
+ Receives and inspects parts and materials. Logs information in computer.
+ Ensures parts/materials are properly stored, identified and comply with Shelf Life programs.
+ Expedites past-due repair and purchase orders for critical spare requirements.
+ Maintains awareness of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP) to prevent entry of SUP into Company inventories.
+ Performs shipping functions of both hazardous/non-hazardous material using a variety of options, including creating and delivering counter to counter shipments for air transport.
+ Reviews the computer system daily for open requisitions to determine if requested parts/materials are still needed and to cancel/delete outdated requisitions. Conducts inventory cycle counts. Accurately reports discrepancies.
+ Works with different departments to ensure maintenance tasks are completed to support the organization.
+ Conducts monthly self-audits including shelf life, hazardous shipping files and various FAA audits.
+ Maintains tooling needed to perform maintenance tasks.
+ Maintains a secure, clean and orderly stockroom per Company policies and procedures and FAA requirements.
+ Ensures compliance with hazardous materials/dangerous goods regulations. Follows and complies with all Environmental Protection Agency polices that impact the airline.
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
+ High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old.
+ Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.

+ Must be able to pass and remain current on HAZMAT Dangerous Goods Handling course.
+ Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and Word.
+ Must be willing to travel for training and company needs.
+ Must be a self-starter who can provide excellent customer service.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in warehouse, parts, supply chain, etc. is helpful.

Refinery Material Handler

The primary function of the refinery material handler will be to perform the sampling, monitor and load/unload incoming trucks and railcars, monitor tank levels, and perform transfers of material within the tank farm, daily. This position reports to the Operations Manager and works 7 days on and 7 days off. The refinery process is a 24/7 operation, so work hours will require nights weekends, and/or holidays.
Candidates MUST have oil refinery or chemical plant experience.
Starting at $26/hr. plus shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor tank levels and transfer inventory in/out as needed.
* Monitor incoming trucks bringing in used motor oil, antifreeze, and oily water.
* Monitor outgoing trucks taking out asphalt and wastewater.
* Monitor the loading/unloading operations the entire time the pump is moving product to or from the truck.
* Individual will be able to drive powered lift trucks and be aware of their load limits.

* Understand and troubleshoot basic pump operation: cavitation, seal leaks, vibration, etc. to maintain efficient equipment.
* Adequately stock operational and emergency supplies.
* Operate a basic pressure washer.
Requirements:
* MUST have experience in a refinery plant or chemical plant and truck unloading/loading environment.
* Must have the ability to perform basic computer/email/fax functions.

Role Overview
The Material Handler role is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for hour-by-hour
execution of material identification, separation, and packaging activities. The goal of this
position is not only the effective movement of material but to keep the warehouse well
organized.

Key Responsibilities
Create a safe and secure work environment using safety procedures and processes.
Participate in safety continuous improvement projects. Ensure the work area and
warehouse are well organized and clean. This may require periodic extra
movements of material to re-organize and streamline.
Responsible for weekly inventory control of waste products such as cardboard,
skids, drums, and product such as gaylords, skids and drums. Will inform leadership
when truck for delivery is needed & when order for materials is needed.
Responsible for cardboard bailing and making of gaylord boxes for teams
and delivering to their area when needed.
Organization of mezzanines and removal/loading scrap products. Responsible for the
organization of all mezzanines and secondary storage areas including staging
of drums and pails to be taken down as required.
Loading of all scrap trucks.
Responsible for moving material from the mixed dry pallet racks, in order of
FIFO from the appropriate.
Responsible for packaging and removing any finalized material and loading it to a
finalized material pallet location.
Responsible for taking away all empty boxes, FRL boxes, filled collection units and
any order movement of material and supplies out of the sort area to prevent delay
or stoppage of operations. From time to time the material handlers may be asked
to support shipping and receiving in the movement of materials and other related
tasks.
Responsible for supporting inventory cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy
in the area.
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required:
Ability to perform read and comprehend product labeling, job instructions, and
safety documentation.
Basic analytical and decision-making skills.
Basic communication and listening skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Ability to work collaboratively and multitask in a team based, fast-paced, detailed
and production-oriented environment.
Must be able to operate the bailor and the wrapper.
Forklift certified.
Must be physically capable of lifting up to 40 pounds frequently.
Must be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time to
perform their assigned job activities.
Must be able to visually identify.
Must be able to manipulate small items with their hands.
High school degree or equivalent
Warehouse and forklift experience of 1 year
Ability to speak, read, write and understand basic English as well as follow written and

In this role, you'll help manage the flow of materials in and out of our facility-from receiving and storing shipments to pulling and delivering inventory for production-all while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

What You'll Do:
Receive & Transport Materials: Move incoming shipments to the appropriate warehouse locations and input inventory movement into the system. Ensure stock quantities are accurate and correct any discrepancies.
Inventory Management: Maintain well-organized storage areas to support efficient retrieval and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are followed.
Pull & Disburse Materials: Receive Manufacturing Orders (MOs), confirm materials, pull inventory from designated areas, and deliver to production while updating the system.
Cycle Counts & Confirmation: Assist with regular inventory checks, compare results with system records, and report discrepancies to Accounting.
Problem Solving: Collaborate with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot day-to-day material handling challenges.
Team Support & Training: Provide guidance to new team members as needed and assist other handlers with workflow improvements and task coordination.
Maintain a Clean Workspace: Ensure your area is neat, organized, and always meets safety standards.
Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the department.
What You Bring to the Table:
Forklift Certification (or willingness to earn one within orientation period)
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (with assistance up to 100+ lbs)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Familiarity with the metric system and basic computer skills
Good hand-eye coordination and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
Vocational training or equivalent experience preferred
Previous experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus
