Provides support to business unit leadership and Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP) on employment matters, investigations, and dispute resolution, in compliance with various employment and labor laws. Serve as Subject Matter Expert resource to company-wide HR professionals regarding investigations. Identify training needs and provide resources/opportunities for personnel assigned to conduct HR-related investigations. Actively develop and sustain partnerships with HRBPs to ensure harmonized and consistent investigation practices and provide support for continuous improvement. Manage and track investigations conducted by HRBPs. This role will interface significantly with the Ethics & Compliance Office in support of the Company's Investigation Committee. Degree: + College Degree (Bachelors Level). The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is: + 7 years of experience directly involved with conducting investigations. List any specialized training or unique skills required: + Working knowledge and application of labor laws, including but not limited to Title VII, ADEA, Harassment, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, etc. + Understanding and experience with managing fit-for-purpose investigations. + Working knowledge of how a company's helpline works in support of a Speak-up culture. + Employee relations, with experience conducting investigations related to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. + Experience writing clear and concise investigation reports. + Knowledge and ability to identify, and lawfully collect, preserve and examine evidence. + Excellent judgment. + Thoroughness and attention to detail. + Tact and discretion. + Knowledge of the established investigative techniques. + Ability to handle sensitive information. + Effective oral and written communication skills. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Professional acumen, business ethics, problem solving, respect for confidentiality. + Maintain high degree of personal integrity and ethical behavior. + Genuine desire to provide and promote a fair and positive experience and inclusive culture. + Collaborative approach to resolving conflict. + Knowledge and application of relevant HR best practices, employment law standards and workplace investigative protocols. + Occasional travel may be required. + Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) a plus. 1. Manage and lead fit-for-purposes investigations into employee and/or contractor concerns with increased complexity, sensitivity, and visibility to provide an inclusive environment, consistent with Company policies, procedures, culture, and values. + Use advanced investigations techniques to determine the appropriate approach, prepare questions, and conduct interviews. Complete case reports, including an analysis of findings, and recommendations. + Provide important insights and sound recommendations for resolution of issues, considering local legislation/regulations and company policies in partnership with HRBP, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, and other partners as applicable. Identify case trends and recommend solutions to address issues from a systemic perspective in conjunction with the Ethics and Compliance Office. 2. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships and consult with partners, employees, and leaders as an expert in navigating complex people relations matters. Work with the HR Team to identify policy opportunities and to build organizational capability by managing people relations matters. + Foster a positive employee experience by serving as a neutral party while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality and objectivity, demonstrating respect, fairness, and timely follow up. + Facilitate interventions that support the organization's Ethics & Compliance and Human Resources compliance and strategy needs. 3.
