Shawnee Health is seeking a CMA or LPN for our Shawnee Health Carbondale Medical Clinic. This position reports directly to the Nurse Manager. Responsibilities In addition to all normal CMA/LPN job duties additional duties will include the following responsibilities:
Communicate with supervisor and other team members during the work day to meet the needs of the patients.
Follows all clinic policies and procedures for medication and immunization administration, sign out, reconciliation and inventory management.
Prepares the exam rooms for the patient by setting up any needed equipment and maintains a clean, organized, efficient and confidential work area.
Greets the patient, escorts the patient to the exam room, and verifies patient name and date of birth.
Obtains vital signs, height and weight, allergies, completes medication reconciliation, review of systems, updates immunizations and documents relevant information by following appropriate EHR work flow for the visit type and alerts provider to any concerns.
Responsible for performing Point of Care Testing
Responsible for documenting reportable disease to IDPH in a timely manner.
Requirements
Must have a valid Illinois driver's license and auto liability insurance on personal vehicles.
Must have a valid Illinois nursing license to practice as a LPN or certification as a Medical Assistant
Starting salary - $20.00-23.40/hour

JOB SUMMARY:
