Summary:
The Med Surg Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. This role involves assessing patient health conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to manage diverse patient needs. The position requires strong clinical skills in med-surg and telemetry nursing, critical thinking abilities, excellent communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics.
Essential Work Functions:
Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence to nursing standards
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns to the care team
Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, assist physicians during treatments, and monitor patient responses
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients recovering from medical conditions or surgical procedures
Document comprehensive patient information, including vital signs, medications, treatments, and care outcomes, in the medical record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and social workers, to create and implement individualized care plans
Manage multiple patients efficiently, prioritizing care based on acuity and clinical needs
Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed, including hand hygiene and PPE use
Advocate for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring they are respected and integrated into the care plan
Facilitate discharge planning, coordinating with patients, families, and external resources to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Job Description
The Senior Regulatory Expert is a recognized thought leader and subject matter expert (SME) who is responsible for driving Assent's objective of being a market leading software and services solution for a wide variety of customers and industries. Qualifications

A Brief Overview

Regions is seeking an individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to join our Neurology team as a Psychometrist The psychometrist will administer and score a wide variety of psychological test batteries evaluating the cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, behavioral and emotional status of patients under the direct supervision of a clinical neuropsychologist or clinical psychologist. They will join a robust team of neuropsychologists and psychometrists in the Department of Neurology at the state-of-the-art HealthPartners Neuroscience Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. * IFSAC and/or ProBoard certified as Fire Instructor II, Fire Officer II

* Certified by the NREMT as a Paramedic

A Brief Overview
Accountable for providing direct, personal care and services to residents in the skilled nursing facility, which meet the physical, academical, social and spiritual needs on a daily basis to maintain and improve their highest level of independent function.
What you will do
Provides assistance to residents with their activities of daily living
Performs routine duties and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff. This may include but not limited to assisting patients with bathing and dressing needs, shaving, oral hygiene, bed making, transfers into and out of bed, repositioning, toileting needs, serving and collecting food trays, encouraging and/or assisting with feeding, answering call lights, insuring a clean environment, transporting patients upon admission and dismissal, assisting with ambulation and orienting/reorienting of resident to the facility environment to insure resident safety.
Performs blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration and weight. Documents concise and factual information on the appropriate forms.
Performs or assists residents in performing specific medical care activities in accordance with established policy and procedure to contribute to the patient's plan of care. This includes assisting residents in performing restorative exercises, collecting specimens as directed by nursing staff. Assessing and documenting completed cares. Provide feedback to nursing staff immediately on status or changes in patient conditions, pain management, and other important concerns.
Assists with restocking supplies and maintaining appropriate work environment in unit including cleaning procedures.
Participates in providing emotional, educational and spiritual support for families.
Complies with all aspects of resident rights including confidentiality and privacy. Reports all allegations of resident abuse or misappropriation of resident property.
Understanding and following established policy and procedures related to fire, tornado, evacuation, disaster plan, universal precautions, infection control procedures, hazardous and chemical communication program. Maintains an environment that is clean and safe for all residents, families and staff.
