Temporary Description The Theater & Music Specialist is responsible for creating safe, age-appropriate, adaptive programming that is focused on music & drama for campers aged 8-17 years old. This staff member will create dynamic and detailed lesson plans for Theater & Music program areas, and will be responsible for supervising volunteers each session. Team Overview: The Program Team brings the camp experience to life by creating programs, building community and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all camp participants. The team creates accessible and developmentally appropriate programs and recruits, processes, and supports a large team of volunteers and seasonal staff. In adherence with laws and camp governing bodies; they develop, plan and implement camp emergency procedures and policies. Requirements for this position include: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field with one year of therapy experience or a Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling. Social Work/Professional Counseling License or equivalent: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S Experience in therapy and counseling is preferred. Experience within a home setting is preferred.
