WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Support the sale of Supplemental Health products by highlighting benefits, services, pricing, competitive advantages, and operations.
Partner with assigned Mutual of Omaha Group Sales Representatives to meet performance standards and achieve voluntary sales goals, including new business, cross-selling opportunities, and renewal activity.
Develop competitor strategies by creating tools and analyses to strengthen sales positioning.
Identify, coordinate, and deliver field training for each product in collaboration with sales offices and internal departments.
Create and execute sales support materials such as competitor comparisons, presentations, and marketing content.
Lead office and broker visits as needed to support product sales.
Assist with the development of finalist presentations to secure new business opportunities.
Partner with internal departments to identify and implement product and process enhancements.
Develop and maintain current knowledge of company's products, policies and services.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Strong experience and extensive knowledge of Group Supplemental Health Insurance products, design, administration, and marketing. Specifically, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity.
Demonstrated success and ability to build relationships with sales personnel.
Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation and negotiation skills, and ability to collaborate with teams.
At least 3-5 years of Group Supplemental Health sales support or sales experience.
Ability to travel up to 15% of the work period and a valid driver's license.
Knowledge of competitors' products and positioning.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for representing clients in all areas of insurance defense practice, handling cases that are primarily low to moderate in complexity and exposure. Manages all phases of cases from intake to resolution.
Essential Job Functions
Litigates low to moderate complexity and exposure cases and performs duties necessary from intake to trial and/or settlement. This includes but is not limited to preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs.

Responsibilities

Partner with underwriting managers/team to provide excellent customer service and to market and meet with brokers, risk managers and reinsurers. Serve as external face claims leader for product line and demonstrate ability to forge and maintain relationships with external customers, effectively resolving concerns where necessary. Ability to effectively articulate the claims value proposition in claims advocacy meetings, account renewals and new business prospecting. Present at industry conferences or publishes external industry content.
Lead short to medium-term strategic claims activities/priorities for the product line, with alignment with the strategic priorities of IronHealth and NAS Claims. Oversee projects assigned by the department head.

**General Summary:**

The Customer Benefit Advisor (CBA) I is the entry level in a three-level career path. A CBA I is a critical first point of contact for our customers.
To be successful in this role, the incumbent is responsible for demonstrating exceptional customer service for business serviced by Unum/Colonial Life. It is critical to provide accurate information on benefits, claims, and or policy administration with minimal operational oversight. Incumbents in this role will be tasked with compiling information for multiple product types, from multiple systems, and providing responses to customers that are thorough, clear, and concise. All work is carefully performed according to established protocols/procedures.
In this role, incumbents must demonstrate a willingness to provide strong customer service - providing accurate information to customers, expressing appropriate empathy, and resolving customer issues where appropriate. This position requires the use of multiple system applications and administrative processes. While service is focused on our external customers, this position is responsible for creating detailed/appropriate documentation for our internal cross-functional business partners.
In addition to providing excellent customer service in accordance with established standards, incumbents will need to demonstrate proficiency in individual metrics (i.e. accuracy, post-interaction surveys, average handle time, after call work, schedule adherence, etc.) that are in line with pre-set expectations and drive results for the Customer Contact Center.

We are seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst/Actuary responsible for supporting the Risk Management Underwriting teams within Major Accounts. You will be the primary point of
contact and trusted advisor of the Underwriting teams to support complex risk pricing and business strategy development. This position focuses on providing high-quality analyses and effectively communicating key outcomes to support achieving profit, growth, and operational objectives for Risk Management. As such, the successful candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to execute thoroughly in a collaborative environment. The position sits within Global Risk Solutions,North America Actuarial and Analytics team.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Underwriting to provide account-level pricing support for Casualty lines of business including Auto, GL, and Workers Compensation.
Perform complex actuarial analyses to support business decision making, strategy development and results monitoring at the segment level.
Provide clear and concise communication of technical concepts and work products to underwriters, managers, and senior leadership within Majors Accounts and Actuarial and Analytics.
Collaborate with Reserving teams to support and influence reserve deep dives.
Collaborate with Models teams, Analytics, and Technology teams on tools and projects to enhance pricing and influence underwriting strategy.
Directly influence and engage in quarterly profitability reviews.
Coach and mentor junior colleagues and perform peer review on work products to maintain high standard of quality.
Qualifications:
Proven math and analytical skills, as normally acquired through the pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience required.
Associateship or Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS) designation preferred.
Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques and standards, as well as business operations including underwriting, financial, claims, legal etc.
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, responding to business demands in a changing marketplace.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to deliver effective training and presentations to field staff and senior management.
Ability to establish and build effective relationships within and outside the organization.
Strong data manipulation skills including the ability to query, consolidate, and test for reasonability needed.
Advanced computing skills (MS Office Excel, SAS, etc.) required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Masters Degree preferred.
Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) or in Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation preferred or comparable education/designation with relevant experience.
Attaining Associateship alone is not a sufficient criterion to operate at this level, especially if exams have been passed very rapidly.
Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience required;
Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques and standards, as well as other business operations including financial, underwriting, legal, statistics, claims, sales, etc.
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and interact effectively with others within and outside the organization.
Ability to motivate and mentor peers and motivate and train subordinates;
Advanced computing skills (MS Office Excel, SAS, etc.); Ability to build complex models.
