Role Description: Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our fast-paced development team. As a key member, this role will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce Environment, supporting rapid product solutions and accelerated concept-to-implementation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce administration, a keen interest in staying up to date with industry best practices, and the ability to thrive in a faster-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the configuration, customization, and maintenance of our Salesforce instances to support business processes in the Reverse Mortgage/Mortgage Industry.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to design and implement Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements.
Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry regulations.
Develop and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and approval processes.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other analytics tools to provide actionable insights to management.
Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related issues in a timely manner.
Provide training and support to end-users on Salesforce functionality and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
Document all configurations, customizations, and processes for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in Salesforce administration and development.
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Salesforce Certified Administrator certification required; Advanced Administrator certification preferred.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security models, and best practices.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Component development.
Experience with Salesforce APIs and data integration tools.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and rapid prototyping.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Experience with Github, Postman, Custom API Integrations or other Salesforce products is a plus.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

* Underwrites new and existing subdivision account submissions of virtually all sizes and complexities utilizing underwriting authority granted by Chief Underwriting Officer and adhering to required underwriting guidelines. Coordinates and/or surfaces issues to manager and/or field Bond Manager. As directed by more senior staff/manager, monitors marketing, underwriting and/or administrative issues within various offices, as assigned. Prepare, recommend, and/or implement instructions for administering workflows and accounting/billing issues to service unique situations.
* Utilizes various applications and data and analyzes statistical and financial reports, claims data, and other financial exhibits/data to ensure the quality of existing and new business. Communicates issues of concern on new and existing business to the applicable field office product line underwriter and/or Bond Manager, as necessary and inputs data on accounts to complete or modify analyses and maintain lines of credit in a current and accurate matter. Pursues resolution of open issues, documents result and adjusts credit parameters extended to specific accounts based upon such facts and findings. Applies sound reason and business logic to credit recommendations, documenting such logic file and communicate credit recommendations to more senior Home Office and Field underwriting staff, as necessary.
* May directly manage and/or provide underwriting support and direction to less experienced underwriting staff/interns.

Qualifications
Degree in Business or equivalent typically required
A minimum of 7 years expected, typically 10 years or more, of progressive underwriting experience and/or other related business experience
CPCU or professional insurance designation preferred
Proven analytical ability to evaluate and judge underwriting risks within scope of responsibility
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analyses and information in understandable written and/or oral directives to other persons in the organization for underwriting or training purposes
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities:
* Plans, organizes, and performs desk-based risk appraisals for assigned lines of business(s) to provide risk analysis information to Underwriters
* The risk appraisal process includes preparation of a plant/process/product description, assessment of plant/process/product design, hazards and adequacy of mitigation measures, assessment of management systems/procedures and plant protection facilities, and loss estimate calculations
* Conducts on-site risk engineering surveys for existing and prospective Clients, as required by underwriters.
* Produces either a brief summary report for internal use or a detailed marketing risk engineering survey report for Underwriters, Brokers, or the Client as required by internal guidelines
* Assumes ownership of allocated accounts including attendance on surveys, follow-up of key recommendations and ensuring that risk engineering information on file is up to date
* Provides technical input on claims including review of loss adjuster reports and site visits to identify areas for claims mitigation and lessons learned
* These lessons learned should be communicated to other Engineers/Underwriters and provide a basis for future loss prevention investigation during surveys
* Maintains professional credibility and consistently demonstrates technical expertise and sound judgment
* Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of the assigned lines of business(s) including process technology, loss prevention, construction and other related issues that may impact the underwriting decision-making process or profitability
* Expected to actively pursue professional development to develop and maintain knowledge in these areas

* This role will mainly focus on the assessment of onshore oil, gas, petrochemical, and chemical risks, as well as non-civil construction projects.

Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a technical discipline, such as Chemical, Process, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* The job holder will be expected to possess at least 7 years' experience in relevant process industries and should have a background in at least one of the following areas in a managerial, technical or consultancy role; Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, Process Engineering, Loss Prevention, Construction, Risk Management or Project Management
* Job holders with no previous insurance experience but who have extensive industry experience in a variety of relevant sectors will also be considered for this position

THE ROLE
