We're hiring a Construction General Laborer / Pre-Apprentice to join our expanding team. No experience required. Training and tools are provided.
This position comes with the ability to transition into our long-standing, highly regarded Apprenticeship Program.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting Sheet Metal Journeymen and Apprentices in daily job duties, both in shop and on jobsites.
Assembling and fabricating flashing, panels, and ductwork.
Cleaning and daily maintenance of shop and jobsite.
Daily usage of power tools and hand tools
Installing exterior sheet metal on new construction builds
Assist with building maintenance
Cutting, measuring, bending, and assembling sheet metal
Assist in shop fabrication process and in the field installations at job sites
Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or HSED (required for apprenticeship)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong work ethic and attendance
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
Sheet Metal experience preferred
