This pivotal role oversees the intersection of finance, payroll, and human resources administration duties. Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Month-End/Year-End Oversight: Lead closing functions, including accrual tracking, journal entries, variance analysis, and invocing. Financial Integrity: Review and validate preliminary and final financial forecasting, budgeting statements, including payroll alongside the General Manager to ensure 100% accuracy. Accounts Payable & Reconciliation: Oversee invoice submissions, monitor accruals, and perform frequent reconciliations of petty cash and purchase orders. Operational Support: Provide high-level financial guidance to the General Manager; attend operational and financial meetings to align financial updates with division goals. Payroll & Benefits Administration Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor payroll staff, ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of weekly payroll for a large workforce. Compliance & Compliance: Ensure all payroll and HR activities adhere to Corporate, Federal, State, and local Union Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs). HR Liaison: Partner with Human Resources to manage employee lifecycles (hires, GFI status changes, terminations) and track comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, PTO, and Sick Leave).
