Job Summary:
The Child & Family Protection Specialist (CFPCS)/Transport Specialist (TS) provides secure and efficient transport in a humane manner to Unaccompanied Children (UC) and/or families, while accompanying them on domestic and/or international flights and/or via ground transportation to facilities all over the country. During these trips, CFPCS/TS uses their language skills to communicate in a way that is culturally sensitive, while fostering a safe and comfortable environment.
The CFPCS/TS follows and complies with Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with contract requirements; secures UC and/or families' personal property, to include any medication during transportation. The CFPCS/TS is responsible for providing an orientation to the UC and/or families, maintains constant line of sight and sound, and sets behavioral expectations. The CFPCS/TS reports on trip progress and enters each milestones at the beginning of each trip, during the trip and at the end of each trip and elevates concerns to appropriate parties.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe and secure transportation of unaccompanied minor(s) and/or families in a humane manner and in accordance with MVM's and federal government customer's established policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Provides orientation to all minors and/or families in a language they understand, explaining the transportation process and answering questions.
Reviews all documentation to ensure it contains all information needed for travel.
Completes, verifies, and provides required documentation to appropriate parties.
Must be able to address and de-escalate, in both controlled and uncontrolled situations, with uncooperative individuals and reports issues to management immediately.
Provides approved clothing and hygiene supplies, if required, meals, snacks, and drinks for the minors and/or families for the duration of the transport as required per contract requirements.
Completes applicable inspections, to include vehicle safety and security inspections following Standard Operating Procedures.
Conducts vehicles inspections, to include Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections, depending on the program.
Ensures the safety of all passengers during transport and is responsible for ensuring that all occupants have their own seat and are secured with a seat belt in the vehicle.
Ensures that a car seat and/or booster seat are properly installed prior to a minor entering the vehicle.
Must maintain “line of sight and sound” supervision of each minor and/or families during transport.
Logs transportation details in MVM's proprietary system, such as medication, meals, communication, delays, etc. in milestones at the beginning, during and end of transport.
Reports into the Command Center and/or Shared Services and Site at established check points and provides updates on any changes, disruptions, or concerns throughout the transportation route.
Records medication for minors in milestones, if applicable, to include the type of medication, the number of times the medication is administered throughout the transport and any irregularities.
Must report all emergency situations following company's SOP and processes.
Performs visual verification of minors and/or families and matches them to documents provided to confirm identity of traveling minors and/or families.
Maintains close communication with Command Center and/or Shared Services, and Site leadership during travel and elevates all concerns to site leadership.
Must perform duties which can include the use of force and restraints following company SOPs and guidelines, depending on the program.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
Associate degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college (a high school diploma with one or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted for an associate degree).
Have at least two years of documented experience in a field related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar occupational area; as well as certification, licensure, and credentials applicable to the professional accreditation of the position if applicable (a minimum of three years of experience in a related field is required when a high school diploma with one or more years of relevant experience is substituted for an associate degree).
Must be bilingual; must be able to speak, read and write in English, read, and speak Spanish.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and with clients. Ability to take technical direction and feedback from various sources.
Demonstrate experience applicable to the goals and objectives of the program sufficient to communicate with other staff, and appropriate for a similar program environment.

Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Holistic Assistance Response Team (HART) Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager, the Crisis Intervention Specialist (CIS) works in partnership with the HART EMT to form the Response Team. The CIS is responsible for assessing and providing information, resources, strategies, and outreach to individuals experiencing social welfare, mental, and/or behavioral health issues. The CIS engages in informed decision-making using best practices in crisis response and make linkages to services. The CIS provides the appropriate level of response and intervention that includes but is not limited to safely and actively engaging community members in non-enforcement strategies and tactics such as de-escalation, harm reduction, and trauma informed care. The CIS may transport and/or arrange transportation services for community members in need.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Respond to calls for non-emergency community care and social concerns, and provide on-site response that includes screening and assessing an individual's physical, mental, and social condition to determine stabilization and level of care needed.
* Aim to resolve needs on-scene using active engagement strategies and tactics to assess the community member's needs, mitigate risk and potential issues, and link to appropriate resources for follow-up with the goal of longterm self-sufficiency.
* Maintain community members' confidentiality, except when the individual has granted consent and/or in instances of imminent harm to self or others, and/or where required to report by law.
* Maintain a collegial working relationship with dispatch and other first responders, and collaborate to make informed decisions related to best practices for crisis management, determination of need for immediate transport for care, and consideration for responding to incidents involving a minor.
* Transport community member and/or arrange transportation to services, as needed and appropriate.
* Ensure all documentation is completed accurately, in detail, and submitted before end of shift.
* Perform daily vehicle inspection check, equipment and supply checks to ensure all are in good working condition before and after shift.

SCHOOL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
Full-time (10 Month Employee): Wage is based upon education and experience from $43,925 - $53,225, plus benefits and up to an additional $10,000 in Prop 301 money. The position location will be at Beaver Dam Elementary School, 3436 E. Rio Virgin Rd., Beaver Dam, AZ 86432. This position is funded through the School Safety Grant.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience:
A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university. Completion of a graduate program in one of the following: guidance and counseling, counseling, social work, or psychology.
At least two (2) years of verified full-time experience as a mental health counselor or three (3) years of verified full-time teaching experience.
Experience working with children is preferred.
License, Certificates, and Fingerprints:
o Counseling Certification through the Arizona Department of Health Services.
o Counseling Certification through the Arizona Department of Education.
o IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

The Archway is seeking a Hotline Interventionist.
This position provides immediate response to Crisis Hotline callers using empathetic listening, risk assessment, safety planning, and education to provide appropriate client-centered interventions to address callers' immediate needs.
The position has significant responsibilities in line with a standard crisis hotline. The Hotline Interventionist will coordinate with Emergency Services staff on shelter availability, scheduling client arrivals, and arranging special accommodations to prepare for callers approved for shelter. Additionally, this position will establish and maintain open, professional, and healthy lines of communication with all Emergency and Residential Services staff to communicate pertinent and appropriate client-related information to support survivors. Working in the domestic violence field can be hard - but we can do hard things. The specific qualifications for this role are: · Bachelor's degree in social work or related social services field required. · Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)· Knowledge of crisis intervention, social work theory, and ethics is preferred. Experience in and knowledge of family violence theory preferred. · One year of experience working in a social service environment is preferred. Must have general computer proficiency.
