THE WORK
As a Software Engineer - Senior Level you will be responsible for:
• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
• Contributing to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutions
• Innovating RF signal processing applications
• Developing analytics, visualization and discovery tools
• Integrating new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors
• Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components

Basic Qualifications:

In this role, you will focus on identifying and developing business development and growth strategies that address critical HPC requirements for AWS Government Regions customers, while building and executing campaigns that drive out-year growth. The ideal candidate will possess deep understanding of cloud computing and HPC architectures and operations (on-prem and/or cloud); demonstrated experience executing HPC campaigns in the US federal market (on-prem and/or cloud); and proven success influencing product management and introducing new products into federal and regulated markets. Knowlege/experience with controlled unclassified and classified cloud computing infrastructure and applicable compliance and security requirements preferred. You will be responsible for developing partnership and deal strategies, managing strategic customer relationships, and driving top-line revenue growth for the federal HPC business. Success in this role requires the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, while effectively working with cross-functional teams and driving performance goals. Candidates must be able to craft compelling value propositions, develop business case/financial proposals, and influence technical decisions at senior and executive levels.
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Technical Business Development Manager, HPC/Advanced Computing, you will:
• Research, identify and develop strategies to expand business in HPC for federal and regulated industry customers in AWS regions, with particular emphasis on AWS Government Regions adoption; including creation of new capabilities and solution sets to meet customer requirements and address emerging trends.
• Work with cross functional teams (sales, solutions architecture, product engineering, etc.) to validate customer requirements, perform feasibility studies and proofs of concept, and define and drive pathways to production adoption.
• Identify specific customer segments, industry verticals and partner markets to approach with targeted value propositions and business case proposals for HPC in AWS Government Regions. Work with the AWS capture, sales and partner development teams to build and qualify pipeline and support partner/customer engagement through the entire sales and business development cycle.
• Research and develop business cases to support detailed product feature requests for federal and regulated industry HPC use cases and workload classes.
• Define, develop and manage HPC-focused AWS programs and initiatives tailored to US Federal and regulated industry customers.
• Collect, create, and manage the creation of sales and marketing collateral to facilitate the business development process.
• Monitor customer onboarding and adoption; develop approaches to increase adoption, revenue growth rates and workload retention rates for HPC workloads in AWS Government Regions.

The purpose of the Strategic Partnerships Manager role is to develop and nurture deep engagements with our most important partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop deep long term partner relationships.
Negotiate and own joint development agreements and programs.
Scope and coordinate partner project plans and Statements of Work, in tight collaboration with engineering
Team with the Engineering, Technical Project Management, Product Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain groups.
Ensure execution to your commitments
Transition Joint Development programs into long term supply arrangement together with the Supply Chain team.
Shape partner and internal roadmaps.
Keep up to date on the industry ecosystem, and educate the management team on changes, and what they mean.
Key skills and experience:
Minimum Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical discipline. MBA a plus
5+ years of relevant professional experience
Excellent communication skills, including active listening and questioning to really understand what partners bring to us, and what they need from us
Fluent English language and experience communicating with people from different countries on the phone and in-person
Ideally candidates from the AI Data Center, AI, or Silicon Photonics industries, but not essential

Support other Fund Managers through a team approach to provide continuity of daily management of other fixed income funds/portfolios.
