Essential Functions * Support daily operations activities, assisting project managers and operations leadership with administrative and project-related tasks. * Assist in preparing weekly deliverables, including compiling project updates, tracking documentation, and assembling internal/external reports. * Participate in financial reviews, learning to analyze project financials, budgets, and cost projections as competency increases. * Perform basic cost analysis, gathering data, reviewing labor and material costs, and supporting estimating or project controls teams. * Provide administrative support, including organizing documents, scheduling, preparing meeting materials, and maintaining project records. * Attend project meetings, taking accurate notes, distributing minutes, and eventually facilitating portions of meetings as skills develop. * Conduct periodic site visits to observe electrical construction work, verify project progress, and support field-to-office communication. * Collaborate with project managers and estimators to support preconstruction planning, change order tracking, and project coordination activities. * Maintain strong communication and teamwork, partnering with field and office personnel to support project execution. * Participation in the Lunch & Learn internship program provided by the MYR Group Internship Leadership team. * Prior to the end of their internship, the intern will create and present a self-reflection project detailing their gained industry knowledge, future career goals, as well as personal and professional growth. The presentation will be provided in PowerPoint and presented to their direct management team. ABOUT YOU Qualifications * College junior or above working towards a related undergraduate degree or be currently enrolled in or attending trade school. If you are a recent graduate, you must be within 1 year of your graduation date. * No experience required.
