This role partners with Finance, ITS, and business stakeholders to create, deploy, and sustain AI agents that automate, optimize, and enhance financial and project workflows. The Analyst will also serve as an internal consultant on AI adoption and best practices, and will help establish and enforce AI governance frameworks to ensure responsible, ethical, and compliant use of AI technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as an internal consultant to Finance and ITS teams, identifying opportunities for AI integration and recommending solutions that drive efficiency and value.
Help provide training and support to end-users on AI-powered tools and agents, gathering feedback to inform continuous improvement.
Design, build, and deploy AI agents to automate financial processes.
Train and fine-tune AI agents using curated financial datasets, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business needs.
Work closely with ITS, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless integration of AI agents into financial systems.
Participate in design meetings and direct testing for AI-driven features.
Monitor agent performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements or retraining as needed.
Maintain clear documentation of agent logic, data pipelines, and model behavior for compliance and audit purposes.
Stay current with AI developments relevant to financial systems.
Help develop and implement AI governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
Foster a culture of responsible AI adoption and continuous improvement.
Help ensure all AI solutions in Finance comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards (e.g., data privacy, fairness, and explainability).

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum three years of experience in financial systems analysis, with demonstrated experience in AI agent development or AI solution implementation preferred.
Oracle ERP and AI-powered financial tools a plus.
Effective communication and active listening skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.
Experience with machine learning concepts and tools (Python, SQL, LLM frameworks).
Familiarity with agents in Copilot, Oracle, Procore, custom LLM-based agents
Familiarity with financial systems (transactions, ledgers, projects, etc...).
Understanding of AI governance principles, including data privacy, model transparency, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated ability to form strong partnerships with different stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of new technologies.

The base pay range for this role is $72,900 - $109,400 (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). If applicable: This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.

Essential Functions
* Oversee and participate in the development of the detailed project schedule, cost allocations, environmental permitting, geotechnical investigations, access planning, detailed engineering, and procurement as part of pre-construction
* This phase of each project will include working with MYRE support teams to execute each scope within the terms of the client's contract
* Be the face of MYRE to the customer; manage relationships with the customer's team, MYR Group team, and business partners to mitigate challenges to achieve project success
* Managing contracts for equipment and materials, sub-contractors, site facilities, and other services as required. This includes supporting and sometimes leading contract negotiations with customers, sub-contractors, and vendors.
* Interface with equipment vendors to research and confirm equipment applicability to project scope and schedule
* Review contracts, power purchase agreements, and interconnection agreements to incorporate requirements into project scopes and ensure follow-through by the team
