NC Power Systems is seeking an Outside Rental Sales Rep in Tukwila, WA to join our team.
The primary function of this role is to generate profitable rentals for NC Power Systems for the South Puget Sound area.
The Rental Rep will aggressively pursue and close rental opportunities within the assigned territory.
Specifically, this role is responsible for renting Caterpillar portable power generation equipment, the company's line of mobile air compressors, and also our line of temperature control equipment.
The person successful in this role will demonstrate the ability to answer technical inquiries utilizing a strong understanding of our equipment.
Personal aptitude and professional credibility is essential to be successful in this role.
You must be an articulate and effective communicator to be successful assisting our customers with their business needs.
Responsibilities Include:
Prospect and develop new customers within the territory to maximum potential.
Maintain and build positive customer relations.
Weekly in person visits with customers in both their offices and the jobsites and provide product information as well as educate them on financial merchandizing plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed customer records to include logging/input data, manage Dodge Pipeline information, manage expenses and follow sales procedures and policies.
Coordinate with operations personnel regarding equipment availability and rental programs. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:

1-2 years outside rental or sales experience highly preferred.

The Equipment Yard Attendant is an important role at our Seattle (Tukwila) Branch responsible for assisting in the efficiency and security of daily yard or branch activity.
Key Responsibilities:
The position requires basic knowledge of heavy machinery in order to conduct initial inspection of equipment, and record information such as fuel and SMU.
The ability to work outside during long periods of time along with loading and unloading equipment for our customers will be essential to complete the needs of our customers.
Managing associated paperwork such as transfer attachments and other related equipment paperwork per agreements is an essential function of this role.
Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Follows standardized procedures, principles and practices of powder coating application.
Operates all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems - familiarization with Nordson systems a plus.
Effectively performs all duties of a powder coating sprayer, including but not limited to surface preparation, powder coating application, curing, and inspection for acceptable finished product.
Ensures that all components are produced and coated efficiently and are consistent with company established quality and delivery goals.
Loads and unloads parts in a mainline or custom booth setting.
Working knowledge of the mechanics and basic repair of powder coating equipment.
Proper cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment, and 5S readiness of work area.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school level education or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
Strong background in Powder Coating a must; > 3 years of experience and/or training preferred.
Possesses high attention to detail while operating in a fast paced, high producing environment.
Demonstrates ability to work independently with little daily supervision.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS

What You Will Be Doing:
You will lead and develop a team of Test Technicians responsible for the safe and efficient execution of high-voltage testing across Helion's production and development programs. In this role, you will manage daily test schedules and operations, drive technician growth and training, and partner closely with Test Engineers and Production Managers to ensure consistent coverage, safety, and quality across all test areas. This is an onsite role reporting to a Production Manager at our Everett, WA office.
You Will:
Supervise day-to-day operations of the Test Technician team, including scheduling, staffing, and shift coordination to maintain full test coverage
Champion a culture of safety and technical excellence by ensuring adherence to all high-voltage and test protocols
Partner with Design & Test Engineers to implement, improve, and sustain testing processes, equipment readiness, and automation initiatives
Lead technician training and certification programs, ensuring all team members meet or exceed Helion's High Voltage Operator standards
Monitor performance, provide coaching and feedback, and drive professional development within the technician team
Track test throughput, identify process bottlenecks, and coordinate cross-functional solutions with engineering and production leadership
Support hands-on troubleshooting and test readiness activities as needed to resolve issues and sustain continuous operations
Foster continuous improvement through standardized work practices, lessons learned, and feedback loops with Test Engineering and Production
Required Skills:
3-5 years of supervisory experience
Familiarity with electrical testing practices and high-voltage safety protocols
Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment
Experienced in managing schedules and priorities across shifts
Experienced in collaborating with Engineers, Supervisors, and cross-functional partners to maintain operational excellence

What You Will Be Doing:
You will support the design, development, and optimization of the core energy management systems for Helion's fusion generators. This includes high-voltage pulsed power delivery, energy recovery, redistribution networks, and AC grid-tie systems. In this role, you'll drive design excellence, mentor other engineers, and contribute directly to one of the most ambitious energy challenges of our time. This is an onsite role reporting to the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering at our Everett, WA office.
You Will:
* Design, test, and troubleshoot high-voltage power systems that drive pulsed magnetic coils
* Oversee procurement, construction, and commissioning of electrical systems delivering
* Develop system architecture and collaborate on schematics and installation drawings
* Lead design reviews, validating cost-effective, scalable, and reliable solutions
* Support generator commissioning and operations with an eye toward improving future builds
* Own engineering rigor-cost, schedule, and resource estimates-for your scope of work
* Mentor teammates and contribute to technical growth across electrical and cross-functional engineering teams
Required Skills:
* 8+ years experience in power electronics, solving complex electrical engineering problems from design to delivery
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
* Proven experience designing, fabricating, installing, and testing electronic systems
* Strong working knowledge of power switching components (IGBTs, MOSFETs, SCRs)
* Deep understanding of engineering principles and experience driving project delivery from design through execution
* Advanced troubleshooting skills using tools like oscilloscopes, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, and electronic loads
* Proficiency in LTSpice, SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, Altium, MATLAB, and Microsoft Office
