Nabholz company history timeline
While this once small, family-owned construction company is now a large, multi-discipline, employee-owned firm, one thing hasn’t changed — the Nabholz name has been synonymous with integrity since Bob Nabholz founded the business in 1949.
Around the year 1976, Nabholz Construction transitioned into a merit shop general contracting company.
Founded in 1983, Nabholz Properties was started by acquiring the real estate assets of Con-Ark Builders, a division of Nabholz Construction Corporation.
Originally named Con-Ark Land Development, the name was changed to its current form in 1985.
In fact, Bob established the Nabholz Charitable Foundation in 1987 to ensure support for the company’s philanthropic efforts for years to come.
In the year 1990, the company reached $100 million in sales for the first time as well.
The company had also created a position specifically for its Sustainable Initiative, in the year 2007.
As of the year 2008, the company was ranked by ENR magazine at 90 places on the list of Top Green Contractors in the USA as well.
