Rigline 24/7 Rig Equipment Support Technicians are Nabors front line technical support experts. Experience with drilling rig operations and equipment is required. The ability to gather information, diagnose problems, and resolve issues both proactively and reactively is the technician's primary task. The technician is expected to resolve routine issues and log all cases in a tracking system. Technicians will manage the issue from beginning to end, working with other departments, until resolution. This a rotational 12-hour shift position in the support center, 7 days on/7 days off.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years' experience in the drilling industry and knowledge of drilling operations and equipment
Preferred mechanical, hydraulic and electrical rig equipment skills.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist internal and external customers with troubleshooting of Rig Equipment (Top Drive, Catwalk, Wrench, Drawworks, VFDs, Generators, Mud Pumps, BOP)
Expeditiously work to troubleshoot and resolve downtime events, acting as liaison between the field and internal departments until event resolution is achieved.
Understand rig network protocols and remote access rig systems to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues.
Work to achieve remote resolution to minimize impact of failures and reduce customer downtime.
Relay dispatch request to District Operations Supervisors for issues that cannot be resolved via phone and/or email.
Gather and collect critical relative information pertaining to Rig Equipment failures in an effort to improve operation/maintenance processes and procedures.
Create cases in the case tracking system for all Rig Equipment issues.
Resolve problems by clarifying issues through researching and exploring solutions, and escalating unresolved problems while providing superior customer service.
Oversee proactive maintenance systems and notify customers of issues which could result in catastrophic equipment failure and unexpected downtime

Job Duties and Qualifications
Duties:
Responsibilities include: Lead Drilling Automation and Remote Operations deployment for western hemisphere drilling operations. Be the subject matter expert in drilling automation software and systems for operations team. Provide training in automation software and drive competency development. Closely interface with field operations for first time deployments and provide on-the-job training and competency development to field personnel. Provide feedback to product management and technology on issues and challenges with deployment and software use. Domestic and international travel required 25% of the time.
Requirements: Employer will accept a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Tech Prof-Technical Svcs, Prin-related occupation.
Position also requires: Position requires experience in the following:
1. Experience with real-time execution of directional drilling operation in deep water offshore and land drilling operations.
2. Experience operating complex downhole bottom hole assemblies including at-bit and ultra-deep resistivity, formation fluid sampling, azimuthal gamma and directional assemblies.
3. Experience with Geosteering operations and remote directional drilling services with multiple operators globally.
4. Experience writing technical service manuals and developing inhouse training and competency skill assessment and experience with well construction database management and data analysis.
5. Experience with Rigsite network and Rigsite to remote drilling center integration including softwares, hardwares and communication protocols.
6. Experience with BHA design covering hydraulics, wellbore integrity, well placement.
7. Experience with well trajectory design and planning software, including anti-collision scan and analysis, bit projection and working plan.
8. Experience with rotary steerable system (RSS) operations, including both push-the-bit and point-the-bit technologies, with capabilities such as real-time surveys, real-time inclination and azimuth, and cruise control technologies.
9. Experience with directional drilling optimization; mud motor and turbine operations; drilling hydraulics analysis, including equivalent circulating density (ECD) management and pressure loss calculations; drill string integrity evaluation, including torque and drag analysis and BHA dynamics; and overall drilling optimization fundamentals.
10. Experience with deployment and use of automation software for directional drilling, including well placement and drilling efficiency.
11. Experience in publishing technical papers and presenting at industry conferences, sharing insights on drilling technologies, well planning, automation, and drilling optimization.

We are seeking a highly motivated, technically skilled, and customer-oriented Field Service Technician to support the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of advanced oilfield monitoring systems and technologies at customer sites. This role involves extensive travel, hands-on fieldwork in challenging environments, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients in the oil and gas industry.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical or electrical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently in high-pressure situations. You will represent the company on the front lines, ensuring optimal performance of our hardware and software solutions on drilling and service rigs.
In addition to traditional field service responsibilities, this role requires foundational IT technician capabilities, including basic networking, system configuration, and technical support for computer-based monitoring equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Background in electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of instrument calibration procedures, pressure/temperature/flow measurement devices, and signal processing.
Proficient in the use of multimeters, pressure calibrators, HART communicators, and related diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CANbus, Ethernet/IP).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Well-developed problem-solving and analytical abilities with a high degree of personal initiative.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote field environments.
Comfortable working irregular hours, including long shifts (12+ hours), and being on call.
Sales-minded with the ability to recognize opportunities and promote products/services.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in electronics, mechanics, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of field service or technical experience preferred.
Experience with oilfield drilling or service rigs is an asset.
PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor including climbing ladders/stairs and working in confined spaces.
Frequent exposure to outdoor elements, drilling rig environments, and electronic devices.
Must be able to drive long distances and travel extensively (75%+ travel required).
Willingness to work a rotational or extended shift schedule (e.g., 14 days on / 7 days off or 14 days on / 14 days off).
Install, commission, test, and calibrate company products at customer sites in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Provide on-site training to customers on the proper and safe use of equipment and software systems.
Perform field upgrades and maintenance of hardware and software components.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Manage and maintain inventory, company assets, and service documentation.
Monitor rig movement and activity in assigned regions; assist with developing customer targeting strategies.
Record and report equipment performance, service activities, and customer feedback in company databases.
Recommend product or service enhancements by evaluating customer needs and system performance.
Provide technical and sales support in collaboration with account management teams.
Work closely with Field Leads and other technicians to ensure alignment and service consistency.
Adhere to and promote company safety standards and procedures at all times.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or field support management.
