1967 Doctor Theodore Gorski, a scientist-entrepreneur, founded Science Associates.
1968 Sportol® biological indicators were developed.
1971 The name Science Associates was changed to North American Science Associates, Inc. (NAMSA) when Doctor Gorski and his wife, Mrs.
1977 NAMSA expanded to Irvine, California to allow for same-day release testing.
1986 Substantially informed by NAMSA’s biocompatibility matrix, the Tripartite guidance was introduced by an FDA official at a NAMSA seminar.
1995 NAMSA purchased Biomatech in Chasse-sur-Rhone, France, to expand our international presence.
2002 Completed the first phase of a 14,000 square-foot expansion plan in Northwood, Ohio, including a new vivarium, toxicology laboratory and administrative building.
2004 NAMSA introduced its consulting practice engaging clients earlier in the product development process.
2006 Completed the second phase of the expansion plan in Northwood, Ohio, including a 10,000 square-foot surgical center and a 15,000 square-foot addition to the toxicology facility.
2012 The Integra Group, an accomplished company with unique pre-clinical to clinical services and research study know-how, was acquired.
2014 NAMSA acquired Medvance Ltd located in the United Kingdom to expand our clinical and consulting capacity across Europe.
The formation of this umbrella organization began in April of 2015, where 70 students gathered in Washington DC to discuss the necessities of having a unified body.
On October 18th 2015, the National Assembly of Malaysian Students in America (NAMSA) was successfully launched during the West Coast Malaysian Students Leadership Summit 2015.
In May of 2020, NAMSA officially went through the Grand Restructuring during the Annual General Meeting after a two thirds majority vote of the assembly.
In August 2021, NAMSA acquires Philadelphia-based CRO Clinlogix to enhance clinical therapeutic expertise and expand global footprint with four new locations throughout APAC, EU, North America and South America.
