    The BIM/VDC Engineer will develop and manage 3D Building Information Models focused on tilt-wall concrete systems. This role supports design coordination, shop drawing production, and construction planning by ensuring the creation of accurate and detailed digital models that accurately reflect real-world buildability. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Revit and Tilt-werks (willing to receive training), as well as a solid understanding of tilt-up construction processes. Duties and Responsibilities * Create and maintain detailed BIM models of tilt-wall panels, including openings, embeds, lifting inserts, reveals, and joint layouts. * Produce shop drawings, panel drawings, and layout plans directly from the BIM model for fabrication and field use. * Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure alignment of design intent and constructability. * Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings to identify and resolve interferences with other building systems. * Generate quantity takeoffs and assist in estimating and scheduling through model-based data. * Apply and maintain company BIM standards, templates, and workflows specific to tilt-up projects. * Support field operations by providing model visualizations, lift sequence simulations, and panel erection plans when needed. * Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM data with site logistics and project management tools. * Create accurate 3D Models using Revit based on Contract Drawings to be used for Digital Layout (Model-based layout) * Design: Validate drawings during the Modelling process and write RFI to resolve drawing discrepancies. * Maintain 3D Model with any changes due to Drawing Revision, RFI response, Submittal etc. to maintain accuracy of construction Model. * Support creating Line drawing/Lift drawing based on project needs. * Support the Shoring Engineer by providing a 3D Model and helping with the visualization of the complex project. * Work closely with the Field team to learn the constructability means and methods and improve the accuracy of the 3D Model. * Create a 3D Model for Pre-Construction to be used for model-based take-off to help the Estimator quantity check. * Support in creating 4D Schedule to help visualize the project sequence to the team and client. * Provide Graphical support to Marketing for presentation * Support delegating and double-checking the outsourced 3D Model creation company, if any, to get a faster Preconstruction Model. Required Experience, Education, and Qualifications * 24 years of BIM modeling experience, preferably in tilt-up or cast-in-place concrete construction. * Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structural) and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks or BIM 360 is a plus. * Familiarity with tilt-wall construction details, lifting and bracing systems, and panelized construction methods strongly preferred. * Knowledge of all phases of concrete and building construction * Exceptionally strong written and interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and deal effectively with all internal and external stakeholders professionally and respectfully. * Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple urgent initiatives. * Valid drivers license * Must have reliable transportation to the workplace(s)/ job location(s). * Ability to successfully pass a background check related to driving. * Ability to pass drug screening. * Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
