    Family nanny job at Nanny

HOBOKEN, NJ (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED UNLESS NORLAND TRAINED!!) - A loving, thoughtful family is seeking an experienced, developmentally minded FULL-TIME NANNY to support their 7-month-old baby boy and serve as a true partner in their parenting journey. Light household management support would be a bonus, but the focus of the role is on the son's care. This role begins January 22nd or ASAP. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-6:30 PM with some flexibility. Mom works a hybrid schedule and is home on occasion, while Dad works from home full-time. The family currently lives in a very walkable community, though a driver's license is preferred; should driving become necessary, they are flexible with the nanny using their own car and will provide mileage reimbursement. There are no pets in the home. Their son is curious, alert, happy, and very bonded to his parents, so they are seeking a nanny who is fully present, nurturing, and deeply invested in his developmental growth. Responsibilities include bottle preparation, diapering, sterilizing bottles, preparing meals as he transitions to solids, maintaining a clean and organized environment for all baby-related items, and thoughtfully planning age-appropriate, enriching activities. Light household food prep would be a plus. The ideal candidate holds a university degree, preferably in child development or a related field, and has strong experience with infants of a similar age. Personality fit is essential. They seek someone safety-focused, energetic yet calm, adaptable, patient, trustworthy, discreet, organized, and respectful of the home. Strong communication is a must-this nanny should know when to share updates, how to receive feedback gracefully, and how to uphold agreed-upon boundaries and parenting decisions. Above all, they want a partner in this journey, someone who will support them wholeheartedly, become part of their family's rhythm, and build a long-term rapport rooted in respect and teamwork.
