Child Care Aide Reports to: Early Childhood Teacher and Early Childhood Program Coordinator The child care aide is responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of the children in the assigned early childhood classroom. Hours: Tuesdays (8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) with the opportunity for up to 14 hrs/wk Classroom Responsibilities: Assist with preparing an inviting, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. Maintain continued, engaging, and attentive interaction with children throughout the day. Utilize redirection techniques for behavior management and seek support from the teacher if further assistance is needed with child behavior.
