ASPEN FAMILY SEEKS NANNY NEEDED FOR TWO DARLING BABIES ASAP!
Family nanny job at Nanny
ASPEN, CO (NATIONWIDE SEARCH)
A wonderful opportunity awaits for an energetic and knowledgeable nanny to join two dads in caring for their sweet baby boy (7 months) and baby girl (5 months). The family is seeking someone with excellent references and a strong background in child development, particularly in the baby and toddler stages. Candidates who have prior experience living in high altitudes, and who are physically fit to keep up with two kids under 1 is paramount. Discretion is of utmost importance to them, must be wiling to sign and abide by strict NDA.
Their ideal nanny brings warmth, positivity, and stamina, while also being creative and intentional in fostering early milestones and developmental growth. The family values a calm and nurturing presence paired with an active, engaging approach; someone who enjoys outdoor play, is comfortable in snowy mountain conditions, and can bring fresh ideas for play, learning, and exploration. Both dads work from home and are hands-on, so they are looking for a collaborative partner who values open communication and is excited to be part of their parenting journey for years to come.
A private, fully furnished apartment within walking distance of the family's home is provided. Aspen's free and reliable public transportation system makes it easy to get around, but would recommend that you also maintain a personal vehicle. The schedule will average 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with half days on Saturday (morning to early afternoon). Occasional overnights may be requested, and the family loves to spend up to a month in Florida or Washington State in the spring or fall, with the option for the nanny to travel with them or coordinate that time as vacation.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include full infant care, bottle prep and sanitization, baby laundry, tidying toys and play areas, and gradually taking on light household management tasks as the twins grow. A small, friendly Chihuahua is part of the family, so comfort with dogs is appreciated. Candidates must be fully up to date on vaccinations including COVID and flu. You must also be a great driver, with a pristine driving record.
This is a truly unique opportunity to grow alongside a kind and welcoming family right at the start of their parenting journey. Compensation is highly competitive and based on experience, with benefits including paid time off and the possibility of a health insurance stipend. Relocation assistance is provided. For the right nanny who loves the baby and toddler stage, thrives on being active and engaged, and is excited to embrace the Aspen lifestyle, this role is a dream come true.
