Full-Time Nanny in South Charlotte for a 3-Year-Old and 7-Month-Old
Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency
Nanny job in Charlotte, NC
Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Lansdowne Neighborhood of South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their two children, ages 3 years old and 7 months old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with some flexibility, as Mom's work schedule can flex. Prior notice would be given for any schedule changes. The nanny must also be willing to travel with the family, primarily on domestic trips.
The best nanny for this family would be experienced in caring for both infants and toddlers and be kind, dependable, organized, and comfortable with a dog in the home. This role calls for a professional who can foster a nurturing and educational environment while supporting the family's established daily routines. Familiarity with developmental milestones is essential, along with the ability to encourage growth and age-appropriate development through engaging activities at home and in the community.
The three-year-old attends preschool on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. While the mother handles drop-off, the nanny will be responsible for preschool pick-up on those days.
An active and engaging approach is encouraged, including taking the children on strolls, reading books, playing with toys, singing, and supporting developmental activities. The nanny will also be encouraged to take the children out in the community to age-appropriate activities such as library story time, Music Together classes, local parks, children's museums, and other enriching activities. The mother occasionally works from home, so the nanny should be comfortable with a parent working remotely.
Nanny Responsibilities Include:
Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)
Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level
Playing with the children both inside and outside the home
Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Unloading/loading dishwasher and sanitizing bottles
Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children
Picking up after the nanny and the children throughout the day
Stocking Diapers and emptying the diaper pail
Pets: The family has a Pit/Lab mix, so the nanny would need to love dogs and not be allergic. The nanny would be required to let him out in the fenced-in backyard to go to the bathroom as needed.
Qualifications:
Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
Have a college degree or equivalent experience
Have a professional resume
Fill out a complete online application
Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency

They love playing Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, and Lacrosse in the backyard. The children have high energy, so being energetic, playing sports with the children, and keeping up with their energy levels is essential. There is a pool in the backyard, the nanny must be able to swim, and there must always be an adult with their eyes on the children at all times outside. Their 2.5-year-old has some stranger danger when warming up to people, so a nanny who is warm, patient, and comforting with the 2.5-year-old would be best.
Nanny Responsibilities Include:
Meeting the daily scheduling needs of the children
Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level
Playing with the children both inside and outside the home
Doing hands-on learning activities with the children
Ensuring that they are ready for the next day of pre-school
Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):
Children's meal prep / feeding them snacks
Cleaning up after the children
Cleaning lunch boxes after school
Tidying up and organizing toys at the end of each day
Pets:
The family has one dog. He is a hound dog mix, about 60 pounds. He is eager when he first meets someone, or they arrive at the home, and then he reverts to minding his own business. There will be no pet care responsibilities.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of professional nanny experience
College degree or equivalent experience
Professional resume
Complete online application
Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency
Pass a national background check, including a driving record check
Valid driver's license
Safe and reliable vehicle
Minimum of three professional references
Non-smoking/vaping
CPR and First Aid Certified
Must be able to swim, as the family has a pool in their backyard, and neither children know how to swim independently. They have taken lessons and will continue with lessons. An adult must always be present in the backyard, and the family has child locks/alarms on the exterior doors.

Part-Time Nanny in Marvin/Waxhaw NC for a 3 Month Old Boy
Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency
Nanny job in Waxhaw, NC
Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Marvin/Waxhaw in finding a part-Time Nanny for their 3-month-old boy. The nanny would be needed 3 days a week, 6/6:30am to 2-3pm, bonus, (prefer Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). It would be helpful if the nanny were flexible to occasionally stay 30 minutes late if needed, but some days may end at 2pm.
The best nanny for this family would be caring, dependable, highly engaging, and have strong infant care experience, who truly enjoys caring for an infant. This role focuses on providing attentive, hands-on care while supporting developmental milestones through reading, singing, music, tummy time, play mats, play cards, and other age-appropriate toys. The nanny will be present and interactive during the baby's waking hours, with no screen use for themselves and a strong emphasis on connection and engagement. While the baby is napping, the nanny should work on the infant-related tasks listed below.
Open, consistent communication with parents is essential, as the family values collaboration and dependability. Mom works from a home
office, so the ideal nanny is comfortable working in a household with a parent who works from home and can maintain a smooth, professional routine. The nanny should prioritize hygiene by washing hands frequently and be willing to wear a mask if they have been around sick individuals.
The family is hoping to find a long-term, nurturing nanny who will be a great fit and a trusted part of their household.
Nanny Responsibilities Include:
Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)
Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level
Playing with the child
Doing hands-on learning activities with the child
Household Duties Include (Childcare is priority):
Child's laundry and changing children's sheets weekly
Child's meal prep
Unloading/loading dishwasher and sanitizing bottles
Wiping down kitchen counters
Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child
Picking up after the Nanny and the child throughout the day
Emptying the diaper pail
*it would be helpful if able to tidy up the main living space as needed, putting kids toys away, light vacuuming, wiping down the table and counters
Qualifications:
Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
Have a college degree or equivalent experience
Have a professional resume
Fill out a complete online application
Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency
Pass a national background check, including a driving record check
