This is a long-term live-in position during the workweek, with coverage running Monday at 8:00 AM through Friday at 12:00 PM. While on shift, the nanny is considered on call 24/5. Although night wakings are extremely infrequent, the nanny is expected to respond and provide care as needed. The nanny will live in during the workweek and return to her own residence independently when off shift.
This role is ideal for a seasoned, professional caregiver who is warm, dependable, and thrives in a collaborative, fully staffed household. The family splits time between their primary residence in Washington, DC and other locations, so occasional travel is expected. The nanny will work closely with the parents and household staff to maintain consistency in care, manage daily routines, plan engaging and developmentally appropriate activities, and thoughtfully support the children as they grow. A full-time housekeeper and household manager are already in place.
The ideal candidate is mature, nurturing, highly organized, and an excellent communicator, with experience working in professional or high-profile households. A background in early childhood development is strongly preferred.
The older child will begin preschool in the fall, at which point the role will focus primarily on the younger child during school hours, while continuing to support both children during shared family time.
The position offers a competitive salary of $100,000-$150,000 gross annually via payroll, along with a comprehensive benefits package including full health, dental, and vision insurance, two weeks of paid time off, and paid holidays.

What Your Days Will be Like:
As a Caregiver within our CareBenefits team, you will have the opportunity to care for children of multiple families in your area! You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children under your care.
