Nationwide Search: Full-Time Live-In Nanny Needed In Dorado, Puerto Rico!
Nanny job in Dorado, PR
DORADO, PUERTO RICO (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - A warm and welcoming family based in Dorado, Puerto Rico, is seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY to join their household and provide flexible, dependable support for their three wonderful children-two girls aged 8 and 6, and a 9-month-old baby boy. They already have a beloved long-term nanny who has been with them for six years. As their needs have grown with the arrival of their third child and evolving work and travel schedules, they are looking for an additional team member to step in and to make a long-term commitment, growing in the role as the family grows.
This is a unique opportunity for a nanny who is open to living in beautiful Puerto Rico and working in a collaborative, respectful, and child-focused environment. The family is open to both live-in and live-out candidates, though live-in is preferred. Accommodations for a live-in nanny include a private, furnished bedroom either in the family's home or in their nearby guest house just five minutes away.
The role requires someone who can provide flexible coverage during the day and be available to help fill childcare gaps in the evenings and on weekends. The expected schedule includes approximately 5 hours of daytime support, 2-3 evening hours, and a few hours on weekend days, working roughly 5-6 days per week. Flexibility is essential, as both parents travel regularly and the schedule will likely evolve. The family aims to provide two consecutive days off when possible and will work closely with both caregivers to maintain a balanced, harmonious schedule.
The ideal candidate is emotionally steady, drama-free, and highly dependable. The family is seeking a nanny who can serve as a positive role model for the children, carrying themselves with grace, professionalism, and respect. They value someone who teaches manners by example, is fun and engaging, and is also academically inclined. A background in education, a strong understanding of developmental milestones, and the ability to assist with homework are all highly desirable. An athletic or active nature is a plus!
Duties include engaging with the children, transporting the older kids to and from school and activities (a family vehicle is provided), caring for the baby, preparing meals and snacks for the children, assisting with laundry, keeping the home tidy and organized, and working collaboratively alongside the parents and their current nanny.
Travel is part of this role, and a valid passport is required. The family travels internationally for a few weeks each year and spends approximately 2.5 months in New York during the summer. They are open to relocating the right candidate and will cover the cost of a flight and extra baggage.
Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid sick days, holidays, and vacation. This is a special opportunity for a dedicated, flexible, and heart-led nanny looking to become an integral part of a loving, bustling household. Start date is as soon as possible!
