The Circulation Assistant provides consistent, accurate, and timely handling of Library materials for circulation. Contributes to the general order and care of facilities and Library materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs circulation and shelving activities for the library, including check-in and review of materials, files hold, maintains the Hold shelves, clears return bins, processes, and sorts new materials, prepares materials for transit, unloads and shelves book carts, updates item record status, records statistics, completes reports, assists with shifting projects and shelf reads.
• Performs opening and closing tasks following departmental procedures.
• Prepares book drops for daily, weekend and extended closures.
• Performs paging list fulfillment, including generates hold lists, pulls materials, reviews and processes holds, and reconciles problem items.
• Reviews materials, routes damaged and mislabeled items to appropriate departments ensuring the quality of our collection; addresses non-NPL returned items.
• Supports curbside service and used materials/donations.
• Assists with lost and found materials following guidelines.
• Monitors, collects and returns materials to appropriate public areas ensuring an orderly environment.
• Keeps up to date with departmental and Library communications.
• Responds on occasion to customer requests, referring to appropriate Library staff; assists with monitoring conduct within the library, alerts PIC (Person-in Charge) if necessary.
• Troubleshoots and completes appropriate paperwork for workroom and material issues.
• Collaborates on programs/projects with staff, occasionally at other locations.
• Completes Library training and attends professional development opportunities.
• Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of commercial property management or brokerage experience preferred. JOB SUMMARY:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and safety-driven intern to conduct fire safety inspections across residential and commercial properties. In this role, you'll ensure compliance with local fire codes and ordinances, identify potential hazards, and help educate property owners on fire prevention best practices. This role is ideal for a motivated student interested in fire safety, emergency services, or public health.
The position is for the summer months typically based on a 40-hour work week.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Primary responsibility will be to conduct fire inspections to promote fire safety and prevent fire hazards. These inspections will include site meetings with property managers and owners.
2. Enters inspection results in the computer data system and manages various computer applications as assigned.
3. Prepares and submits reports of inspection findings with pertinent code sections of violations.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate's degree or equivalency of college hours in the process of obtaining a bachelor's or master's degree in fire science or a related field.
2. A minimum of six months of general work experience.
3. Demonstrate a basic knowledge of fire codes and inspection regulations.
4. Possession of a valid driver's license.
5. Proficiency with current computer technology, job-specific software, and customer service systems.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Subject to high levels of noise for an extended period.
2. Subject to extremes of temperature for prolonged periods or abrupt temperature changes.
3. Subject to exposure to fumes or disagreeable odors.
4. Subject to inclement weather conditions.
5. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
6. Regular requirement for site visits to developed properties.
7. Capable of climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, stairwells, etc.

9. Capable of standing and walking for long periods.
10. Ability to drive a personal vehicle to and from inspection sites.
STARTING PAY RATE: $32.36per hour.

Position Overview
The Division of Mental Health is seeking to hire an independent, highly organized, and detail-oriented licensed Registered Nurse for the Chester Mental Health Center located in Chester, Illinois. This position will be responsible for performing direct nursing care for people with mental illness. The successful candidate shall demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, be a self-starter, and be able to carry out nursing assignments pursuant to the direction of medical personnel.
Essential Functions
Utilizing the nursing process, provides professional nursing care to mentally ill patients on a living unit on an assigned shift.
Provides guidance to lower-level staff for adherence to treatment plans and compliance with applicable operational policies and procedures, current professional standards of psychiatric mental health patient care.
Performs a variety of nursing care functions including preparing and administering medication, laboratory specimens, preparing patients for specialized diagnostic testing, providing Basic Life Support (BLS).
Consults with physicians and other professional staff regarding patient treatment and care.
Monitors the use of appropriate techniques to ensure a safe, secure therapeutic and sanitary environment of care and general performance of duties.
