ORGANIZATION The mission of Ravenswood Family Health Network (RFHN) is to improve the health of the community by providing culturally sensitive, integrated primary and preventative health care to all, regardless of ability to pay or immigration status, and collaborating with community partners to address the social determinants of health. POSITION SUMMARY Under the general direction of the Integrated Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) and Social Services Director, the Postdoctoral Psychological Associate position is designed to provide supervised clinical postdoctoral experience for up to two years. Supervision is provided by licensed clinical psychologists. As an essential member of our patient and family centered care team, the Postdoctoral Psychological Associate provides consultation, assessments, and time-limited treatment for our patients and families. Additionally, this position helps develop, nurture, and sustain community resources for patients and families. Behavioral Health staff are essential team members in planning and implementing strategies to improve the overall health and well-being of our patients and families. HOURS Part-time 16 hours per week up to Full-time 40 hours per week in-office*. * Hybrid (office/remote) working from home one (1) day per week to provide clinical services may be an option and must be approved by Primary Supervisor and Director. The BHP consults with medical, contract staff, and other healthcare professionals to conduct and provide education and training on continuity of care, treatment, monitoring and management of patients with co- occurring diagnoses. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Degree issuing institution and or program must be accredited by an entity recognized by the U.S. Department of Education 1. A Doctoral Degree in Psychology from a graduate program accredited by the American Psychological Association. 2. Minimum one year of clinical practice at the licensed independent level as a clinical psychologist. 3. Experience implementing and managing a new mental health treatment program and/or a Modified Therapeutic Community treatment model. (Preferred, not required) 4. Experience in a detention/correctional or residential healthcare setting (preferred, not required). REQURED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION 1. Hold a full, current and unrestricted license at the Doctoral level for the independent practice 2. of Psychology issued by the state in which the duty station is located. Any changes to license must be reported to employer. 3. Meet requirements for inclusion in the National Registry of Psychologist Providers if graduated after 1 January 1982. 4. Meet requirements for Health Service Psychologist or Health Service Provider under appropriate state of practice statue, if Doctoral degree was received prior to 1 January 1992. 5. Working with the patient's local health staff to coordinate care for any identified behavioral health concerns (patient's local administrative staff will coordinate the appointment). 8. Using IHSC video teleconferencing equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) software to examine and record the patient's plan of care. 9. Tele-behavioral health services will be provided in accordance with the IHSC Tele-Mental Health Services policy. 10. OPTIONAL: Provider may choose to obtain additional state licensing, outside of the state of his/her duty station, at provider's own expense, to provide out-of-state tele-behavioral health services.
