NASW company history timeline

2001

He began his tenure at Pitt in the fall of 2001.

The National Association of Social Workers Foundation (NASWF) is a 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 2001 to support NASW’s charitable, educational and research initiatives through a wide range of projects that serve the profession, the practitioner and the public.

2005

Joyner has been on the board of directors for DNB First (previously known as Downingtown National Bank) since 2005.

2006

In 2006 Doctor Bailey left Columbia to become the first Dean of the then newly merged College of Education and Human Development and Assistant to the President at the University of Minnesota.

2008

The 2008 revision incorporated sexual orientation and gender identity, as well as immigration status, into the existing non-discrimination standards.

2011

In 2011, she received the BPD Lifetime Achievement Award in Cincinnati, Ohio.

2018

2019

Doctor Phylis Peterman, LCSW, long-time Chair of the Department of Social Work at Rutgers University – Newark until her retirement in 2019 and is a highly respected teacher and mentor.
