SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for electrical/mechanical servicing and efficient maintenance of machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations and Company process and procedures. Utilize and operate equipment, material and tools for the purpose of inspection, diagnostics and repair/PM on mills, slitter, tool room equipment and misc facility needs as they arise. Responsible for support capacity of all plant functions, maintaining equipment in an operable, safe capacity. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the area in which the employee works is regularly exposed to moving mechanical equipment, parts and vibration. The area in which the employee works with can be exposed to hot or cold environment. The noise levels are mitigated by PPE hearing protection. The work environment also can various- one can expect to work indoors, outdoors as necessary, work in close/confined spaces- at times to be working at heights.
