    Bull Moose Tube Company, a manufacturer of steel tubular products, headquartered in Chesterfield, Missouri has an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager at our Casa Grande, AZ plant site. SUMMARY: As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for managing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the facilities. You will display natural leadership and possess fantastic communication skills with a great eye for detail. Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures. You will need to develop methods and strategies to capitalize on efforts to improve up time. Also, monitor, measure and ensure continued improvement by identifying and performing consistent with key performance indicators. The Maintenance Manager work is full time, alternating between the office and the production floor. This is a challenging, fast-paced role that will require more than 40 hours per week. Maintenance Manager must effectively carry out a wide range of tasks. Below are the following core job responsibilities: Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations. Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance. Demonstrate knowledge of technical skills to include but not limited to welding, fabrication, mill or lathe work, electrical skills, plumbing skills and comprehension of diagrams. Develop strong and productive business relationships with suppliers and other business partners. Maintain all machinery to ensure it's at working standards. Working knowledge of production support system within a manufacturing environment. Maintain / manage / prioritize all daily work orders through our CMMS system. Create and implement maintenance procedures. Plan and manage all repair and installation activities. Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems. Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures. Proven root cause analysis success, ability to train, coach and mentor direct reports. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Provide support and leadership in troubleshooting equipment. Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required. Other duties as periodically assigned QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrate a sense of urgency in achieving results 10+ years' experience in maintenance management role industry dealing with preventative and predictive maintenance. Experience providing technical guidance and development of maintenance work force Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Job requirements are: 5+ years of maintenance supervisory experience, in a plant environment, preferably metals, steel, or other related heavy industry, with Union relationship experience, Excellent technical skills in machinery, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, microprocessors, PLCs and electrical systems/equipment, A BS Mechanical Engineering or vocational technical degree is preferred, with Preventative maintenance and lean skills, and Strong leadership, team, interpersonal and communication skills are essential to being effective in the position. Responsible for support capacity of all plant functions, maintaining equipment in an operable, safe capacity. Complies with all safety, quality, customer focus, preventative maintenance and housekeeping standards. All other duties as assigned and expected. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the area in which the employee works is regularly exposed to moving mechanical equipment, parts and vibration. The area in which the employee works with can be exposed to hot or cold environment. The noise levels are mitigated by PPE hearing protection. The work environment also can various- one can expect to work indoors, outdoors as necessary, work in close/confined spaces- at times to be working at heights.
