It works to improve and facilitate the administration of justice, to promote the study and research of the law, the diffusion of knowledge and the continuing education of prosecuting attorneys, lawyers, law enforcement personnel, and other members of the interested public through various activities such as arranging seminars and fostering periodic conventions or meetings for the discussion and solution of legal problems affecting the public interest in the administration of justice. It causes the publishing and to distribution of addresses, reports, treatises, other literary works on legal subjects or other related subjects; and operates the training and education division of the corporation, which has been sponsored by the corporation since 1969. The NDAA is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, along with the training, research and development division.
