The Executive Assistant provides confidential administrative support to the Chief Marketing & Brand Officer (CMBO), using extensive knowledge of the organization, of NGS's policies, and a high level of technical and interpersonal skills. This position operates with considerable independent judgment and initiative, and collaboration with the team.

Responsibilities Include
Administration (60%)
* Proactively manages the CMBO's day utilizing excellent prioritization skills, discretion, and tact while maintaining complete confidentiality and discretion. This includes, but is not limited to:
* Full calendar management including strategic scheduling and thoughtful coordination with internal and external constituents.
* Ensuring the CMBO is appropriately prepared for meetings through succinct communications and compilation of accurate briefing materials.
* Facilitating ad hoc meetings, such as programmatic meetings, external meetings, and Communications All Hands meetings through the preparation of agendas, PowerPoint presentations, logistical planning (catering, meeting spaces, technology), and timely communications.
* Preparing and disseminating directives and action requests to others on behalf of the CMBO to ensure efficient workflow. Monitors deadlines, follow up on delegated tasks and provides reminders.
* Works closely with the CMBO when planning and coordinating CMBO travel including the compilation of appropriate briefing materials, coordination with other travelers, booking arrangements (air, hotel, ground, transfers), monitoring travel restrictions, keeping visas and passports up-to-date, and monitoring CMBO's needs while on the road.
* As appropriate, the EA also works closely with the CFOO's and CEO's office, as well as other senior team member offices, for CMBO -related travel including developing and updating itineraries, booking transportation, confirming meetings, and gathering all relevant briefing materials.
* Independently manages a variety of administrative tasks for the CMBO including expense reports, reimbursements, and invoice submissions in a timely and efficient manner.
* Maintains and develops their expertise as an EA. Attends training and/or conferences, as appropriate, to support personal expertise development.
Operational/Special Project Support (40%)
* Supports the CMBO to manage and address divisional needs, including:
* Attends weekly Communications leadership meetings and works alongside the team to drive the work of the division and ensure collaboration that facilitates effective working relationships across the Society.
* Creates agendas for regular cross-divisional meetings and maintains meeting minutes.

The Coral Reef Ecologist for Pristine Seas conducts high-impact scientific research in furtherance of the Pristine Seas' mission. The candidate will conduct coral reef research on expeditions, support the production of high-quality scientific reports and publications, and provide input to inform decision-makers regarding the necessity of protecting the last wild places in the ocean
The Coral Reef Ecologist reports to the VP of Research and will be part of a cohesive, collaborative, and high-performing research team. They will contribute to the Pristine Seas research program by facilitating research planning for Pristine Seas expeditions, participating in field research expeditions, analyzing scientific data, and contributing to the writing of reports and peer-reviewed publications.
This is a fixed-term role through December 2030.
Your Impact
Responsibilities Include:
Data Analysis and Reporting (50%)
Collaborate with scientists from around the world in the creation of high-impact scientific publications, which utilize Pristine Seas data and research to highlight the importance of these remote areas in better understanding how pristine ecosystems function.
Lead the production of at least one scientific publication in high-quality peer-reviewed journals each year.
Lead the writing of at least one expedition scientific report per year.
Participate in conferences to report on Pristine Seas scientific findings, as agreed upon with the Executive Director.
Disseminate scientific information to a variety of stakeholders from academics, to government agencies, local communities, and school groups.
Marine Expeditions (40%)
Lead coral taxonomy surveys while on expedition.

NBCUniversal's Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance team is seeking a PCI Scanning & Penetration Testing Coordinator to lead and manage the organization's PCI ASV scanning and penetration testing programs. This role serves as the central liaison between internal business units, technical teams, and external vendors, while also possessing the technical capability to conduct penetration tests independently when required. The successful candidate will ensure timely execution, remediation, and compliance with PCI DSS requirements across all business entities.
Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining PCI ASV scan schedules across all business units.

Qualifications

Responsibilities Include:
In collaboration with the Vice President, Strategic Communications, the Director will launch the Blue Boundaries program and each ecosystem phase: freshwater wetlands, coastlines and reefs. Develop and oversee the execution of annual strategic communications plans that secures visibility - proactively and reactively - for Blue Boundaries across a variety of earned and owned media channels. Actively engage, cultivate and manage internal and external relationships - including with press - to ensure high-quality coverage and amplification of major announcements and opportunistic elevation of newsworthy milestones from the Explorer-led programs. Collaborate closely with the Advancement division on partnership communications with our philanthropic partners. (50%)
Lead the development of all external positioning and messaging strategies for the new Blue Boundaries program. Create and implement a messaging platform to be leveraged across narrative-building activities and external outreach. Draft, review and approve external-facing communications, including talking points, speeches, press releases, blog posts and social media posts. (25%)
Advise on all matters related to reputational and crisis communications for the Blue Boundaries program and develop mitigation strategies for challenges and emerging issues. (15%)
Create and lead media training sessions for National Geographic spokespeople, including executives and Explorers. Oversee the development of media training materials that highlight the Explorer-led programs and Society's overarching narrative. (10%)

Job Description
The Senior Mechanical Engineer provides engineering support for existing and new theme park attractions (rides and shows). Duties include complex downtime investigation and troubleshooting of ongoing issues, reverse engineering and redesign, and other engineering tasks as required to ensure daily operational readiness of attractions. Additional duties include complex re-design and development efforts for mechanical / structural systems of theme park rides and attractions to provide increased reliability and operational improvements. Development of some projects will require basic management of outsourcing services, third party consulting, contracts, and scheduling of work.
All work shall be in conformance with ASTM F24 Committee guidelines and compliant with applicable codes, regulations and standards including: AISC, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, AWS, JIC, NEC, and OSHA, among others.
This role has exposure to multiple different ride and show systems spanning multiple decades, each with its unique fun and challenges.
This role has a 5-day workweek onsite. Offsite work may be allowed with prior approval from the Engineering Manager. The role may include additional nights and/or "weekends" only when necessary.

Reporting into the Senior Director, Blue Boundaries, the Senior Specialist's primary responsibility is to bring subject matter expertise to help define the scientific components of the Blue Boundaries program and to support the scientific evaluation and recommendation of funding opportunities for the program. How You'll Contribute The National Geographic Society headquarters, based in Washington, D.C., is undergoing a significant renovation project on its campus (called Base Camp), which will be completed in 2026. The public-facing portion of this renovation will be the new National Geographic Museum of Exploration. Components of the new museum will include a state-of-the-art pavilion entrance, auditorium, iconic photo gallery, exhibition space, immersive walk-through attraction, retail, food and beverage, education center, archives, tours, and exciting new event space. The capstone of the renovation is a one-of-a-kind nighttime experience in the courtyard.
The AV Technician I (Experience Technology) is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and de-installation of complex audio, video, lighting, and networking hardware for National Geographic Society's world-renowned exhibitions and experiences. These include the new permanent exhibitions and spaces at the Museum of Exploration and our world renowned traveling exhibitions. The AV Technician I will report to the Manager, Exhibition AV Technology and be responsible for the ongoing installation, deinstallation, hardware maintenance and support of each exhibit to ensure zero downtime. They are a subject matter expert in AV, Lighting, and IT solutions that are required to deploy Permanent & Traveling Exhibitions.
Additionally, the AV Technician I will work closely with the larger Experience Technology team to help foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and attention to detail. They will have a part in advising the technical design of Base Camp and NGS's future traveling exhibitions.
