Job Profile Summary
The Customer Service and Ticketing Agent will be responsible for fulfilling daily ticketing and customer service needs at the National Geographic Museum of Exploration. As part of the larger Visitor Experience team, this position will report to the Customer Service and Ticketing Supervisors. Working to provide the highest level of customer support to our visitors and brand supporters, agents will help with daily ticketing operations for both the museum and live events, assist with in-person and virtual constituent support and help facilitate membership benefit redemption.
We are seeking a team member who values interoperability and is ready to jump in and support colleagues across different projects when needed. Your Impact
The Retail Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily operations tasks inside the retail warehouse. Tasks include managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate receiving, organizing and storing merchandise, coordinating timely product fulfillment to the Museum of Exploration Shop, and supervising retail warehouse team members. The Retail Warehouse Supervisor reports to the Sr. Manager, Retail Operations and operates within the Hospitality and Retail team for the Museum of Exploration.
Responsibilities Include:
Warehouse Operations (50%)
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, auditing, and product transfers
Ensure proper labeling of products including SKUs, quantity counts, and dating (necessary)
Continuously identify operational needs and implement improvements to maximize efficiency
Inspect incoming shipments for quality (including adherence to brand standards), pricing verification, and accurate quantities
Prepare products for placement in the retail shop
Utilize retail POS to track inventory and manage operations
Inventory Control (25%)

The AV Technician I (Experience Technology) is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and de-installation of complex audio, video, lighting, and networking hardware for National Geographic Society's world-renowned exhibitions and experiences. These include the new permanent exhibitions and spaces at the Museum of Exploration and our world renowned traveling exhibitions. The AV Technician I will report to the Manager, Exhibition AV Technology and be responsible for the ongoing installation, deinstallation, hardware maintenance and support of each exhibit to ensure zero downtime.
