The Advancement team cultivates, solicits, and stewards individuals, as well as foundation, government and corporate partners who invest in the National Geographic Society to drive impact through science, technology, education, exploration, and storytelling. The team collaborates with Society teams - and often works closely with NGP/Disney - to build transformative and impact-driven strategic partnerships. The team also produces global events that deepen connections and leverage the Society's power to convene, and directs robust annual, major and planned giving programs empowering the Society with a broad base of public support.
Reporting to the Director, Campaign Engagement, the Specialist, Campaign Engagement is an integral member of the Campaign Engagement team. As the Society continues a major multi-year comprehensive campaign, the individual in this role will support the Campaign Engagement team and the Advancement team as a whole, helping to streamline and systematize donor stewardship across the department and craft meaningful stewardship opportunities for supporters at all levels.
Your Impact
Responsibilities Include:
Develop and maintain holistic and strategic stewardship processes for the Advancement team, including establishing recommendations for gifts to supporters of both the annual fund and comprehensive campaign at various levels; coordinating donor takeaways for the Society's signature events; and supporting execution of bespoke gifts for the Society's leadership and principal donors. Additionally, develop and maintain systems for tracking both gift requests and gifts given to supporters. Ensure stewardship touchpoints are uploaded into the donor database in a timely manner. (30%)
Draft content for internal- and external-facing materials in support of the Society's fundraising priorities and the Campaign, including three key newsletters as well as handouts, proposals, and reports. Provide copyediting and formatting support as needed. (30%).
Coordinate and support donor engagement efforts pertaining to the Base Camp renovation project. Serve as a key liaison between the Advancement division and the teams overseeing the construction and design of the Museum of Exploration, especially relating to donor tour logistics and execution. (15%)
Work with frontline fundraisers to facilitate reporting of Advancement activity to Society leadership, including weekly updates and a monthly dashboard. (15%)
Additional project/program management: Other donor and constituent engagement projects, as well as administrative support for the leadership giving and campaign teams as assigned. (10%)

Components of the new guest experience will include a state-of-the-art pavilion entrance, auditorium, iconic photo gallery, exhibition space, immersive walk-through attraction, retail, food and beverage, education center, archives, tours, and exciting new event space. A fully sustainable, on-brand hotel may also be built and operated by a third party on the campus. The capstone of the renovation is a one-of-a-kind nighttime experience in the courtyard.

Summary
The Strategy and Revenue Team is responsible for creating the overall business strategy of all revenue streams on campus that meet or exceed gross and net revenue targets across all business lines including, but not limited to ticketing sales, tours group sales, food and beverage, retail, event rentals, and event programming.
The Senior Manager of Content and Creative will report to the Director of Marketing. The position will play a critical role in the development and distribution of all Museum related content both written and visual in all outbound communications from the Museum. The Senior Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all content and creative IP is designed in accordance with our branding guidelines. This position will ensure that the content developed is in alignment with NGS's Comms teams. This position will also be responsible for the sourcing and vendor relationship with any outside companies that the Museum Marketing team employed to assist in the creation of any ad, image, written or digital media. This position will be responsible for managing vendor contracts related to ad purchases. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, collaboration with colleagues at all levels of the organization and external vendors and partners, and a proactive approach to work with a positive mindset.

Marketing Ad Spend Strategy and Implementation: (75%)
Develop digital, written and sourced collateral for ads, social media, and internal communications, as well as other Museum signage in collaboration with NGS Comms division and Exhibitions

The Coral Reef Ecologist for Pristine Seas conducts high-impact scientific research in furtherance of the Pristine Seas' mission. The candidate will conduct coral reef research on expeditions, support the production of high-quality scientific reports and publications, and provide input to inform decision-makers regarding the necessity of protecting the last wild places in the ocean
The Coral Reef Ecologist reports to the VP of Research and will be part of a cohesive, collaborative, and high-performing research team. They will contribute to the Pristine Seas research program by facilitating research planning for Pristine Seas expeditions, participating in field research expeditions, analyzing scientific data, and contributing to the writing of reports and peer-reviewed publications.

NBCUniversal Vendor Operations Sr. Software Asset Management (âSAMâ) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring effective management of software licenses, compliance, and vendor relationships within the organization. This position involves collaborating with various internal and external teams, and maintaining accurate records. This role is responsible for tracking software assets within NBCU technology footprint, ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements (consumption versus entitlement), managing software inventory, and implementing best practices for software asset management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAM activities, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders as well as expert knowledge of the Eracent Lifecycle Management tool to meet the objectives of this role.
Responsibilities:
Analyze the company's software asset data and create reports that help drive compliance to usage rights, cost savings, cost avoidance and harvesting strategies.
Execute reconciliation by comparing license entitlements with discovered software installations to determine effective license position for in-scope vendors.
Analyze software usage reports and recommend remediation plans for underutilized or overutilized non-compliant positions.
Implement best practice SAM processes including development of shared sites, documentation, etc.
Develop and implement industry best practices for the strategies around acquisition, deployment, and retirement of software assets by recommending and creating policies, processes, and procedures to support end-to-end software assets lifecycle management

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

Exhibitions Operations and Coordination (50%)

Reporting into the project management division of the Exhibitions team, the Project Manager will be a part of the team responsible for National Geographic Society's traveling exhibits program and the $350 million renovation project of the NGS headquarters in Washington, D.C., into a new public experience proposed to open in 2026.
The Project Manager will contribute to the timeline, budget, schedule, and communications for internal teams' and vendors to manage the creative development, fabrication + production, installation and remediation of exhibits for the Museum of Exploration and travelling exhibitions program.
