Primary Purpose of Position Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and proposed modification of plant specific nuclear licensed Operations training programs. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Drives the clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) supporting Nine Mile Point Generating Station located in Oswego, NY. The primary purpose of this position is to train and prepare to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor who holds a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License. Upon completion of training the candidate will be fully licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to supervise the licensed activities of licensed reactor operators in the reactor control room. They will also be trained to directly supervise bargaining unit reactor operators and equipment operators generally. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Attend Initial License Training (ILT) which includes classroom training and examination, along with on-the-job training and evaluation. Successfully complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license in order to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Plan and prepare work instructions that provide direction to the Maintenance Department for corrective maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance and surveillance's, and the implementation of modifications. Select and approve purchase, or make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution. Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities and to provide input for refining and improving work package quality. Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required to perform planned work packages.
