POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs a wide variety of semi-skilled tasks in the operation, maintenance, and set-up of Expo Idaho, including Western Idaho Fair and associated buildings; provides promoter support during interim events.
Essential Functions
Ensures that facilities are set-up, presentable, and meets client's expectations for interim events;
Assists, sets-up, and provides power needs and other amenities for interim events;
Performs light janitorial duties to maintain overall cleanliness of facilities;
Maintains grounds;
Conducts routine, preventative maintenance on tools or building equipment;
Inspects and examines buildings, fixtures, and other functional systems to determine the need for repair or maintenance;
Records documentation of maintenance and repair work;
Performs a variety of minor building or landscaping maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, and sprinkler repair; Assists in a helper capacity in more semi-skilled work such as plumbing, electrical, or related tasks;
Uses a variety of hand and power tools;
May train to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, as needed;

Previous maintenance experience preferred;
Knowledge of the methods, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of facilities preferred;

Essential Functions
Performs the full range of duties (with appropriate managerial review), including hiring, evaluating, promoting, and assigning duties; correcting inappropriate actions or behavior through communication and coaching, initiating discipline or termination as needed; and overseeing employees or a group. Ensures compliance with TSA 1542 through the airport terminal and perimeter security inspections and takes appropriate enforcement actions. Monitors movement and airport access through security access tracking software and responds to all alarms. Monitors and controls multi-faceted enhanced Closed Caption Television (CCTV) and access control systems using computer software.
Monitors local and regional weather patterns. Reports field conditions during winter operations. Monitors airport movement and non-movement areas for Foreign Object Debris (FOD). Issues proper Notices to Airmen (NOTAMS). Conducts wildlife mitigation efforts on and around the Boise Airport, using various methods.
Oversees the operations department providing customer service and lost and found services to all airport patrons. Provides assistance and guidance for airlines and airport vendors.
Operates and monitors a multi-channel, county-wide two-way radio system to communicate airport functions and emergencies on and around the airport. Operates and/or monitors flight information displays, weather displays, runway surface sensor displays, fire detection systems and emergency notifications. Operates computer terminals using applicable software.
Assists the airport credentialing office in personnel working and operating within the Boise Airport. Provides security and airport drivers/familiarization training to employees, tenants and others as outlined in TSA 1542 and FAR 139.Communicates with airfield maintenance to arrange for the proper equipment needed. Writes and helps maintain standard operating procedures for the airport operations department.

Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training

POSITION SUMMARY:
The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform the inspection and maintenance of new and existing valves throughout the city. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Superintendent-Capital- Maintenance Water & Irrigation Division, but considerable leeway is granted for exercise and judgment and initiative. GS-5 and GS-7 $40,332 - $109,952 per year
Locality pay varies by duty location.Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary. Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level. Promotions are at the discretion of the agency. The principal function of an employee in this position is to supervise a caseload of misdemeanor offenders to monitor compliance with court-ordered terms of probation for the protection of the community. This is an unarmed position. The work is performed under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Misdemeanor Probation, but considerable latitude is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment with some field work that includes exposer to potential personal danger.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management & Supervision
· Manages an assigned caseload of offenders on supervised probation
· Establishes and maintains a case file on each offender, scheduling appointments for established periodic visits
· Recommend modifications to probation conditions, including, initiating affidavit to revoke, or petition for early termination
· Monitors restitution and fine payment schedules, and documents, and maintains records of all contacts with the defendant
Court & Legal Proceedings
· Supervises individual offenders for compliance with court orders and sentence requirements
· Monitors court dockets and calendars and runs record checks to determine additional offenses
· Attends court and evidentiary hearings and presents recommendations and/or testimony on violations and sentencing
· Work collaboratively with treatment providers, attorneys, law enforcement etc.
Support & Rehabilitation
· Refer probationers to support programs, including mental health counseling, substance abuse, domestic batterers treatment, or other evaluations and treatments and monitors attendance at and progress of treatment

Listed below are a number of behaviors which may disqualify an applicant from consideration for employment.
Involvement with Illegal Drugs
Automatic disqualification for use of marijuana/THC, regardless of its form, within the last one year. This includes the use of cannabis, hashish, hash oil, and THC in both synthetic and natural forms.
Automatic disqualification for use of any other illegal drug in the past three years. Unlawful prescription drug use in the past three years.
Any illegal intravenous drug use. Manufacturing, selling, offering to sell, distribution or transporting for sale any illegal drugs within the past three years.
All drug use and involvement will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Driving Record
Automatic disqualification for misdemeanor DUI conviction in the past two years or two or more in the past five years.

Criminal Record
