Helpers assist drivers with providing safe, courteous, and complete waste removal for customers. Hazardous Working Conditions: Must be able to lift heavy piper, stand for long periods, and sometimes work in uncomfortable or cramped positions; may have to work outdoors in inclement weather; must be able to climb and work from ladders and elevated platforms, and work with sharp tools, hot pipers or soldering equipment. Ability to use and wear personal protective equipment: half-face respirators/dust mask, safety glasses, lockout tag-out locks/devises, Yellow group lock box, confine space tri-pod kit, confine space meter, body harness for fall protection, BBP kits, fire rated long sleeve shirts, earplugs/muffs, and hand protection.
