Plenty of enrichment opportunities available. Professional development happens often and the pay is typically higher than local school districts.
Management
The purpose of the organization is worth working towards.
The organization doesn't understand the needs of employees in the schools and rolls out new initiatives that don't meet the needs of their teachers, but does meet organizational goals. Good intentions, just misguided and misaligned to the needs of students and teachers. At the district level, there's a lot of people doing many good things, but they're not directed at what is best for the individual school. There are good people and it's a good culture to work at, but if you're looking to revolutionize education, they have the size and means, but not the intentions. If you're looking for a customer focused organization they say they are but they don't put their actions don't align.
Flex schedule, job stability, health benefits are still very competitive.
Students and teachers are wonderful.
The people at the service center do not have their stuff together. Constantly disorganized, and the people in charge only care about money. They do not care about teacher welfare or student welfare.

They work with feedback provided by employees. It took years but it is know possible to know where you stand on benefits.
Pay scale as a person with an advanced degree and knowledge of what others make in my industry I was expecting better compensation
Vacation time I believe work is an important part of life but you also need time to enjoy it. Living in a cold weather state it great to have the warm months off
